The first is extrinsic motivation which is motivation by external factors like giving rewards among others. The other motivation originates from the persons desire to succeed in all tasks undertaken, intrinsic motivation (Hiam,2003). The need to achieve organizational goals has made employees motivation received a significant attention in modern management practices. The goals of a motivated employee are not different from those of the company this increases their willingness to work and perfect whatever they are in charge. However, their removal affects the organization negatively most of the time; they have a responsibility to know how to strike a balance. This explains why managers are the chief motivators in the organization. Employees can be motivated by going for trips, promotion, and satisfying work condition and even in monetary terms.
