The and Networks trains engineering students to design and manage information systems which have become a source of competitive advantage for insightful companies today. Indeed, this field is currently experiencing deep mutations where the traditional boundaries of operations, production, decision making, and strategic planning are disappearing. In addition to positions such as project manager, information systems architect or networks architect, business intelligence specialist, new and exciting job opportunities are offered to our engineers thanks to emerging web platforms, and related web services. About the French Master s Degree in Engineering The French Master s Degree in Engineering is officially entitled Diplôme d Ingénieur. In some countries, people are generally worrying about the Diplôme word, which often refers to institutions and programs at a lower level. In France however, this is quite the opposite: the French State only allows the final year degrees it recognizes as such to be granted the Diplôme title. The French Master s Degree in Engineering is indeed delivered by institutions accredited by the CTI (Commission of the French Ministry of Education) this is the highest level of recognition by the French State for Schools of Engineering. Like ECE, these institutions are most of the time members of the French Conference des Grandes Ecoles (the top Grandes Ecoles are comparable to the Indian Institutes of Technology IIT s). For many reasons, the French Master s Degree in Engineering is considered by companies as the most efficient degree for embracing all of their industrial activities, even in research and development. First of all, it is attracting the best students studying science after Baccalaureate (fresh out of high school). Secondly, the programs leading to the French Master s Degree in Engineering are always matching scientific, technological and managerial skills in such a way that the future engineers will prove rapidly their professional efficiency and their ability to manage complex projects. The comparison between the French Master s Degree in Engineering and the different Masters in or Masters of delivered in various universities highlights undoubtedly the significant advantage of FMDE owners on the job market. Their fast-moving progression within companies, be it in technical or in managerial positions, highlights the perfect adaptation of their training program to the expectations of various organizations (whether producing goods or services). This explains why the French companies operating overseas and interested in hiring Engineers are particularly attracted to applicants with a French Touch. Students acquire the latter when they study for the French Master s Degree in Engineering. As a Master s Degree, the French Master s Degree in Engineering is recognized all over the European Union and benefits from the reputation of France s technological savoir faire throughout the world.
