The same package is provided for both the Linux* and Windows* Operating Systems. The package consists of a test framework, drivers for many popular XML processing engines, and a few sample workloads. In doing so, the user is given a valuable tool not only for benchmarking their system, but for conducting performance comparisons among popular XML processing engine choices. We encourage the user community to contact us through the online Intel(R) XML Software Solutions user forum at softwarecommunity.intel.com to request additional drivers, as well as to share additional benchmarks. - What's New - v1.0.1 - An error was fixed in the driver for Saxon Java XSL Transformation, which picked up the default driver, instead of the Saxon driver. ------ Available Drivers

------ This product contains many drivers for an array of popular XML processing engines representing the functions of SAX Parsing, DOM Parsing, Schema Validation, XSL Transformation, and XPath Navigation. The available drivers in the XBT 1.0 product are listed below, including the product version, and source website. The actual engines themselves are not provided in this package. It is the user's responsibility to provide them. ------ Drivers for SAX Parsing ------ - Xerces-J* 2.7.0, available from xerces.apache.org - Piccolo 1.0.4, available from piccolo.sourceforge.net - - Intel(R) XML Software Suite 1.0 for, available from - Xerces-C* 2.7.0, available from xerces.apache.org - libxml 2.6.28, available from www.xmlsoft.org - Windows* OS only: Microsoft* Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0, ------- Drivers for DOM Parsing ------- - Xerces-J 2.7.0, available from xerces.apache.org - Piccolo 1.0.4, available from piccolo.sourceforge.net - JDOM 1.1, available from www.jdom.org - - Intel(R) XML Software Suite 1.0 for, available from - Xerces-C 2.7.0, available from xerces.apache.org - libxml 2.6.28, available from www.xmlsoft.org
