Welcome to 301-Connect! Connect to your Destiny! We re so glad you ve joined us! 301-Connect is where you ll connect to your destiny. You ve already learned more about who God has made you to be through your personality and the spiritual gifts He has given you. Today you ll learn how your uniqueness fits into the church body. You ll connect to your destiny through church membership, small groups (DIG) and service (DTeam). You can become a covenant church member today, join a DIG-Destiny s small group ministry-where growth and fulfillment happens, and sign up for the DTeam, our volunteer ministry-to serve on one or several teams that make things happen each week. WE ARE CALLED TO REACH, DISCIPLE AND RELEASE PEOPLE INTO THEIR DESTINY- EVERYONE. EVERYDAY. EVERYWHERE.

Connect to your Destiny! THE DESTINY CHURCH COVENANT The bible describes the local church as a family. As members, we are all part of this family and both receive from one another and also to give to one another. This Destiny Church Covenant identifies the expectations for living in a Christcentered community as we seek to fulfill our mission. Together we are on a quest to impact our world with the love and message of Jesus Christ as every one of us lives out God s Truth everyday and everywhere. When you join the Destiny Church family, you freely and willingly choose to take upon yourself the responsibilities and expectations outlined in this covenant, including your adherence to Destiny Church s Core Beliefs and Core Values. Salvation I have made the personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord. This means I believe what the Scriptures communicate about who He is and what His sacrifice means for me. I believe the culmination of God s saving work was Jesus death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead. There, God sacrificed Himself for my sin, won forever the victory over sin and death, and revealed to me the extent of His love. Baptism I have been, or I am committed to being, baptized as a believer in Jesus Christ. Spiritual Growth I commit myself to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ through daily prayer, reflection on His Word, and regularly participating in Christ centered fellowship through DIG groups to expand my understanding and application of the Christian Faith. Service I intend prayerfully and intentionally to seek opportunities to share the story of the life change that God has given to me so that others may also receive His gift of grace as well as using my spiritual gifts on the DTeam to welcome and serve those who come to Destiny Church seeking God. Stewardship I commit to the biblical practice of tithing as an act of obedience and an expression of my worship to God. I also agree to live out generosity by giving a percentage of my income regularly as well as additional offerings and gifts as the Holy Spirit leads me.

Connect to your Destiny! THE DESTINY CHURCH COVENANT Destiny Church receives you into our family and commits to you the following: We reach We grow by committing to expand God s Kingdom by giving sacrificially, partnering with Him to reproduce Christ in others, answering the biblical call to a life of service and always looking for opportunities to share our faith. We disciple We learn by embracing the journey of transforming into the image of Christ by investing in spiritual disciplines and living a grace-filled life empowered by the Holy Spirit. We believe that real spiritual growth happens in the context of a small group. We release We meet to grow in relationship with others as each person walks in their destiny and contributes to fulfilling God s vision for Destiny Church. The New Testament teaches us that each believer has been given spiritual gifts and we are to use those gifts to minister to the church and to the world. We commit to hold ourselves and each other accountable to the Word of God for how we conduct our lives. We will adhere to the Core Beliefs and Core Values that Destiny Church has maintained since its beginning for the purpose of glorifying God in all that we say and do. As members of Destiny Church, we declare the following: We are called to radically transform our world for Christ. We believe we are people of Destiny. We will no longer accept spiritual compromise or lost generations. And we will make it hard for people to enter eternity without Jesus Christ. We commit to live out God s truth-everyone. Everyday. Everywhere. I believe the church is everyone stepping up to his or her God-given purpose. I am the church, I will step up and make a difference. I commit to living out my faith everyday. I will build the walls of God s Truth in my life and in the lives of those around me. I accept that I am the church everywhere I go. I will carry out God s light into the darkness, His hope to the hopeless and His healing to the broken world. I will not shrink back from the call that God has placed on my life. And I will join with others who are building their lives on the Truth of God.

Connect to your Destiny! EVERYONE. EVERYDAY. EVERYWHERE. Joining the DTeam. The DTEAM is made up of our volunteer servants, which includes anyone who serves on a team at Destiny Church. Serving on the DTEAM is one of the easiest ways to begin living out the vision and strategy of Destiny Church. It s also a great way to connect and share life with other Destiny Church members as you continue to grow in your faith and fulfill the call that God has placed on your life. Connect to your Destiny! EVERYONE. EVERYDAY. EVERYWHERE. Joining a DIG-Destiny in Groups At Destiny Church, we believe that spiritual growth happens in the context of a small group. We believe our church must grow larger and smaller at the same time larger because of eternity, and smaller because of the value of each individual. DIG, Destiny s small group ministry, help us move from where we are to where God wants us to be as followers of Christ. DIGs exist to make relationship-building and discipleship easier and more effective. When attending DIG, expect God to change you from the inside out as you build meaningful relationships, create accountability, worship with believers and DIG into God s word all while doing life together with others.
