Breast Enlarging the Bust Breast enlargement surgery today offers you a unique opportunity to achieve a fuller, larger bust for a feminine, curvy figure and a more confident you. A wide range of implants means that you can choose not only the size of implant, but also the shape and feel for the result you want to achieve. Generally the larger you want your cup size, the larger the implant. For the most natural look, you will probably want your new breasts to be in proportion with your body as a whole. What is Involved? Your Surgeon will make an incision (in the natural crease beneath the breast where it meets the chest wall) and create a pocket for the breast implant, where it is then positioned above or below the muscle, according to your discussions and agreement. Breast Uplifting the Bust - Mastopexy A breast uplift or Mastopexy is particularly suitable for women whose breasts have lost their shape or are sagging. It is most commonly performed to reverse the effects that often follow pregnancy, breast-feeding, weight loss and ageing, where the ligaments become relaxed and do not support the breast as they used to. This procedure delivers a dramatically rejuvenated profile to bring back your curves and proportions. What is Involved? The surgeon will carefully remove a small section of excess skin from each breast to lift the bust-line, giving a more youthful and perky appearance. In some cases, if there is also a loss of volume in the breast, an implant may also be used to fill out the breast as well as lift it. This procedure is known as a breast uplift with augmentation. Breast Reducing the Bust Large breasts can be the cause of very significant physical discomfort, often causing backache or shoulder pain on a daily basis. Equally, there is embarrassment and self-consciousness for the patient and the difficulty of finding clothing in the right proportions. A breast reduction, also known as Reduction Mammoplasty, can relieve the pain and misery caused by overly large breasts. What is Involved? Plastic surgery to correct over-large breasts involves the removal of excess breast tissue. Surgery is performed under general anaesthetic and will require an overnight stay in hospital.
