Power lifting 1. Athletes in the sport are divided in five weight classes and placing is based on the total weight lifted on the three main lifts: a. Squat b. Bench Press c. Deadlift 2. Five bodyweight categories: up to 56kg, 62kg, 69kg, 77kg, +77kg. 3. Each competitor is allowed three attempts on each lift. The lifter s best valid attempt on each lift counts toward his competition total. 4. Three referees judge the lift. 5. If two or more lifters achieve the same total, the lighter lifter ranks above the heavier lifter. 6. A good lift is signaled by indicating a white flag, and an illegal one by a red flag. 7. Once the highest value has been collected for each lift, the total weight lifted in squat, bench press and deadlift is added up. 8. The lifter with the highest combined weight lifted becomes the champion. 9. In the case of a tie, then the lifter whose body weight is less becomes the champion. 10. The weight of an athlete's first lift determines their place in the starting order. If they choose to go for a light weight, they will go earlier in the order. 11. Weighing of players will start 2 hours before the competition. 12. During the weighing player must mention his first lift for squat, bench press and deadlift to referee. 13. Player must come with proper kit during competition. 14. A player can participate in only one category. Carrom 1. For the very first turn, the player is allowed three attempts to "break" i.e. disturb the central group of counters. 2. If the striker pockets the Queen and/or one or more pieces of her own colour, the player retrieves the striker and takes another strike. 3. Should a player pocket the Queen before being permitted to cover it, the turn continues but the Queen is returned to the centre at the end of the turn. 4. When a player pockets the Queen but does not cover it, the Queen is returned as near as possible to the centre circle by the opponent. 5. Pieces returned to the centre can be placed on top of other pieces within the main circle. 6. If the striker comes to rest under another piece, the striker should be removed with as little disturbance to the covering piece as possible. 7.
