SAFETY INFORMATION Read, understand and follow all safety information contained in these instructions prior to use of the 3M TM Filtered Water Dispenser. Retain these instructions for future reference. Intended Use: The 3M TM Filtered Water Dispenser is intended for use in filtering potable water for commercial spaces and has not been evaluated for other uses. The system is typically installed at point of use, and must be installed by a 3M certified professional installer according to installation instructions. Explanation of Signal Word Consequences: WARNING CAUTION Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury and/or property damage. WARNING About the Power Supply Plug the power cord into a 230V outlet with at least a rating of 10A and power surge protection. Do not plug in multiple devices into the same power outlet or extension cord simultaneously. Please ensure that the power plug and power outlet are clean and dry. Do not use the equipment if there is any damage to power cord, plug or the outlet. Damaged parts are only to be repaired or replaced by 3M certified professionals. In case of water leakage, please unplug the device immediately. Always switch off and unplug the equipment before inspection, repair or replacement of its components. Issues During Installation/Use Do not install in direct sunlight or outdoors. The equipment is designed for indoor use only. Areas with high moisture/humidity or dust may damage the equipment. Direct sunlight and high temperature may result in color changes. Do not place the equipment on uneven surface. Do not place it in an area with potential for gas leak, or near a heating device. Do not place any heating device on top of the dispenser. Do not place the device in an area where temperature falls below 0º C as the internal components may freeze, causing system breakdown. In the event that the water source is frozen and cannot be supplied to the device because the surrounding temperature has fallen below 0 ºC, please turn off the hot water system for safety. Do not place any objects on top of the equipment. 3

CAUTION Issues During Installation/Use Do not use excessive force to pull the hot and cold water levers. It may cause damage or malfunction. Do not clean the equipment using strong chemicals such as benzene or thinner. Do not disconnect the hose at the back of the equipment or move the equipment while it is in operation, as this may lead to water leakage and potential breakdown. Do not use the filtered water as water for fish bowl or aquarium. Filtered water may not be suitable for fish. Ensure all tubing and fittings are secure and free of water leakage. If the equipment has not been used for a long period of time, completely drain out the tank. Fill it with water and drain it again before use. Lock the panel by pressing the Auto Dispense button for 3 seconds to prevent accidental changes to the settings. The disposable filter cartridge MUST be replaced every 12 months, at the rated capacity, or if a noticeable reduction in flow rate occurs (whichever is sooner) to ensure its effectiveness. 4

PANEL CONTROL PANEL FUNCTIONS 1. UV Switch on/off the UV filter 2. Auto Dispense Function 1: Dispense up to 1 liter of cold water with one convenient touch. Function 2: Lock/unlock the touch touch-screen panel. 3. Econ Mode Switch on/off power saving mode mode. The power saving mode enables the dispenser to reduce energy consumption when the surroundings are dark. 4. Hot Water Function 1: Switch on/off the hot water function. Function 2: Adjust and set hot water temperatures. 7

5. Cold Water Function 1: Switch on/off the cold water function. Function 2: Adjust and set cold water temperatures. 6. Power Switch on/off the dispenser. 7. Safety Lock Lock/unlock hot water dispensing lever. At standby mode, tap once to unlock the lever (red indicator lights up). 8. Cold Water Temperature (BLUE) Indicates cold water temperature levels. 9. Hot Water Temperature (RED) Indicates hot water temperature levels. 10. Water Level (GREEN) Indicates the water level in the filtered water tank. HOW TO USE INSTRUCTION BEFORE USE 1. Ensure that the water hose is connected to the dispenser. 2. Turn on the water supply valve. 3. Check for any water leakage. Do not proceed if leakage occurs. 4. Plug in the power cord. 5. Press the power button. 6. Check the water level indicator. Dispense only if the indicator is lit. 8

HOW TO USE PANEL FUNCTIONS Cold Water 1. Ensure that the dispenser is switched on. 2. Tap the Cold button. A beep sounds once and the Cold indicator lights up. 3. Press the cold water lever to dispense water. Do not dispense if the Water Level indicator is not lit. Hot Water 1. Ensure that the dispenser is switched on. 2. Tap the Hot button. A beep sounds once and the Hot indicator lights up. 3. Tap the Safety Lock button once, then press the lever. When the Safety Lock button is tapped, a beep sounds once and the red Safety Lock indicator lights up. Press the lever within 3 seconds to discharge hot water. As the hot water is discharged, water from the cold water tank will flow into the hot water tank. Hence, the hot water temperature level goes down. If the lever is not pressed within 3 seconds after tapping the Safety Lock button, the red indicator turns off and the hot water dispenser becomes locked again. Econ Mode 1. Tap this button to enable the power saving mode. 2. Once the button is tapped, a beep sounds once and the Econ Mode indicator lights up. When the Econ Mode is switched on, the operating frequency of the compressor and heater inside the dispenser is reduced (when the surroundings are dark) to save power. Hence, when the dispenser is in Econ Mode, cold water becomes less cold and hot water becomes less hot. If water is not cold or hot enough (when the surroundings are dark), check if the Econ Mode indicator is lit. If yes, switch off the Econ Mode by tapping once. Auto Dispense 1. Tap the Auto Dispense Button. A beep sounds once and the Cold Water Temperature indicator moves up and down from level 1 to 4, indicating that the dispenser is ready for Auto Dispense. Press the cold water lever once to discharge up to 1 liter of cold water. This takes about 28 seconds. For safety reasons, only cold water can be dispensed continuously. 2. To stop continuous dispensing, press the cold water lever again. Lock the Touch Screen Panel 1. Tap and hold the Auto Dispense button for 3 seconds to lock the panel. A beep sounds twice and the Auto Dispense indicator lights up, indicating that the panel is now locked. 9

While the touch screen panel is locked, you can dispense hot/cold water. 2. To unlock the panel, tap and hold the Auto Dispense button for three seconds. A beep sounds once and the Auto Dispense indicator turns off, indicating that the panel is now unlocked. UV 1. Tap the UV button. A beep sounds once and the UV indicator lights up, indicating that the UV lamp is now switched on. The UV lamp sterilizes the filtered water before sending it to the storage tank. HOW TO CUSTOMIZE WATER TEMPERATURE How to Customize Hot Water Temperatures The default temperature for hot water is set at approximately 86 o C. The temperature for hot water can be customized between 83 o C (minimum) to 90 o C (maximum). 1. Tap the Power button to switch off the dispenser. 2. Tap and hold the Hot button for 3 seconds. A beep sounds once and the Hot Water Temperature indicator (RED) blinks at level 2. 3. Tap the Hot button again to raise the Hot Water Temperature indicator by 1 level each time. The highest temperature for hot water is at 90 o C (level 4). When the indicator is at level 4, tapping the Hot button will bring the Hot Water Temperature to level 0. 4. After the temperature is set, tap the Power button to save the settings, or wait for 10 seconds for the settings to be saved automatically. 5. Tap the Power button to switch on the dispenser and continue with use. How to Customize Cold Water Temperatures The default temperature for cold water is set at approximately 5.8 o C. The temperature for cold water can be customized between 5.0 o C (minimum) to 7.0 o C (maximum). 1. Tap the Power button to switch off the dispenser. 2. Tap and hold the Cold button for 3 seconds. A beep sounds once and the Cold Water Temperature indicator (BLUE) blinks at level 2. 3. Tap the Cold button again to raise the Cold Water Temperature indicator by 1 level each time. The lowest temperature for cold water is at 5.0 o C (level 4). 10

When the indicator is at level 4, tapping the Cold button will bring the Cold Water Temperature to level 0. 4. After the temperature is set, tap the Power button to save the settings, or wait for 10 seconds for the settings to be saved automatically. 5. Tap the Power button to switch on the dispenser and continue with use. HOW TO CLEAN EXCESS WATER RECEIVER 1. Remove the excess water receiver. 2. Separate the grill from the excess water receiver. 3. Drain all water from the receiver, and wipe the receiver clean with soft cloth. 4. Place the excess water receiver back in position. 11

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE Problem Likely Cause(s) Actions Unpleasant flavor or smell Both hot and cold water cannot be dispensed. Hot water cannot be dispensed while cold water can. Hot water is not hot enough, or not at desired temperature. Cold water is not cold enough, or not at desired temperature. Hot water is not used for a long time. The filter needs to be replaced. The dispenser is not used for a long time. Water supply is not connected. Hot and Cold buttons are not switched on. Safety Button is locked. Hot button is not switched on. Hot water lever is not working. The hot water function is not switched on. Too much hot water has been dispensed. Hot water tank is now empty. Hot water has the same temperature as water supply. Econ Mode is switched on and the surroundings are dark. In Econ Mode, the heater is operated less frequently, hence causing the hot water to have lower temperatures. The Hot Water Temperature indicator is not lit. The cold water function is not switched on. Too much cold water has been dispensed. Cold water tank is now empty. Econ Mode is switched on and the surroundings are dark. In Econ Drain the hot water tank and refill it before reuse. Replace the filter. Please contact 3M certified professional. The tank needs to be cleaned. Please contact 3M certified professional. Open the water supply valve. Check if the supplying hose is bent. Check if water source is supplied. Tap the Hot and Cold buttons and ensure their respective indicators are lit. Wait for the desired temperature level to be reached (as indicated by Hot and Cold Water Temperature levels). Tap to unlock Safety Button. Press the hot water level within 3 seconds after tapping the Safety Button. Tap the Hot button and ensure its indicator is lit. Wait for the desired temperature level to be reached. Please contact 3M certified professional. Tap the Hot button to turn on the hot water function. Wait for 30 minutes before dispensing. Turn off the Hot water function and contact 3M certified professional. Turn off Econ Mode. Wait until the desired temperature level is reached before dispensing water. Set the hot water temperature to level 1 or higher. Tap the Cold button to turn on the cold water function. Wait for 60 minutes before dispensing. Turn off Econ Mode. Wait until the desired temperature level is reached before 12

During dispensing, the flow of water is suddenly reduced. Ensure that the dispenser is on flat and level ground. Keep the dispenser away from other objects. Do not place any object on top of the dispenser. As soon as water is discharged, the tank is refilled with supply water. If noise occurs during this operation, it is normal. Please contact 3M certified professionals to replace the filter or clean the tank. Leakage Poor connections Close the water supply valve, unplug the equipment, and contact 3M certified professionals. Condensation on cold parts of the dispenser Unable to stop water from dispensing. The buttons on the touch screen panel do not respond or work. Environment is too humid Auto Dispense is switched on. The touch screen panel is locked. Remove the source of humidity or contact 3M certified professionals to relocate the dispenser. Stop Auto Dispense by pressing the cold water level again while water is being dispensed. Unlock the touch screen panel by tapping and holding the Auto Dispense button for 3 seconds. 13
