Gilbert Hughes, MINISTER of the word Call in Christ Jesus, appointed by God, anointed as a teacher Operated in the gift of PROPHECY, WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE & healing My mission statement the lord as anointed me to build leaders, worshiper, REVELATION OF GOD'S GLORY All of creation exists to express, to reveal, to display, and to manifest the Glory of God The earth is already full of God's glory (Isa.6:3) - the creation itself reveals one level of God's glory (Psa.19:1-3; Rom.1:18-20). But God desires to reveal His glory in a much deeper way. God s glory is still real today! I personally believe the scriptures that say, He is the same today, yesterday and forever (Hebrew 13:8). He changes not (Malachi 3:6). GOD HAS SO MUCH MORE FOR OUR LIVES God wants to move us into a much higher realm of his will. We can get this revelation of his glory only through intimacy with Him. As our hearts touch the heart of God, we have the same goals He has. We see things as He sees them, and we began to understand His ways, His will, His plan, and His purpose The manifestation of God s Presence could be seen, felt, touched and experienced Would you read attentively with me as I share with you some statements found in the book of Exodus 33:11-19 - Exodus 34:5-8 18 Then Moses said, "Now show me your glory." 19 And the LORD said, "I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. (Exodus 34:5-8 NIV) Then the LORD came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the LORD. {6} And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, {7} maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation." {8} Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped. 1

FIRST. RECLINE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD, We must seek after the Person of God, the Presence of God We MUST desire and seek HIS PRESENCE in our services and lives. We must come with a spirit of consecration and hunger for God. Sometimes we don t do this because we don t really know who we are. We come with an orphan spirit, not sure about our Father and not even sure He Loves us God's manifest presence is what changes lives and reveals the Glory of God. WHEN YOU RECLINE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD, YOU RELEASE THE GLORY OF GOD If we want to see the glory of God, we must, recline in His presence Meaning: Stay in His presence, Dwell, Delight, Spend time in His presence Rest in God's presence. Abide in His presence. Maintains the presence of God The Presence of God is what you and I must seek after all the time. Then and only then will the Glory of God manifest in our life Second. THE PURPOSE OF GOD What is implied in Moses' prayer? A desire to know more than he knew of God. He knew comparatively little of God. Something indeed he had known of Him, but he wished to know more--a desire to know that which makes God worthy of the homage and adoration of his creatures, and especially he desired to be so subdued by this knowledge Nothing inspires courage and endurance and determination for daily living like knowing the purpose of God and feeling yourself wholeheartedly in harmony with it. The Principles The most important thing to man is God s presence The most important thing to God is His glory The purpose of the creation of man is for His glory God greatest desire for man is for man to manifest and expose His glory on earth THE PURPOSE OF GOD IS FOR HIS GLORY TO BE REVEALED THROUGH MAN (male-female) 2

Implication Man was created in The Glory of God, it means that God gave His glory to man. So the glory was trapped in men. Psalm 8:5-6 Man was created from the beginning in God's image that he might image forth God's glory. He was to multiply and fill the earth so that the knowledge of the glory of God would cover the sea. (1 Cor. 10:31). "Let your light so shine among men that they may see your good deeds and give glory to your Father in heaven" (Mt. 5:16). This is not an admonition to do God a favor. It is a command to align our lives with His eternal goal. He created us for His glory. God's great aim in creating and governing the world is that He be glorified. "I created you for my glory. I formed you, I made you." Third. WHAT IS THE GLORY OF GOD? Experiencing God's glory was the whole ambition of Moses Now, what then does it mean to say that God created us for His glory? Glory is a very hard thing to define. It is like the word "Beauty." The glory of God is the beauty and excellence of His manifold perfections. It is an attempt to put into words what God is like in His magnificence and purity. It refers to His infinite and overflowing fullness of all that is good. The term might focus on His different attributes from time to time - like His power, and wisdom and mercy and justice - because each one is indeed awesome and beautiful in its magnitude and quality. But in general God's glory is the perfect harmony of all His attributes into one infinitely beautiful and personal being. Definition The Hebrew word for glory is kabod and Greek word Doxa these two word which means, Weightiness or heaviness that which is substantial or heavy; glory, honor, splendor, power, wealth, authority, magnificence, fame, dignity, riches, and Excellency. Moses asked God to show him his glory. So God said: I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, (Exodus 33:19) In the Bible, the "goodness" of God often refers to His gracious generosity in providing abundantly for mankind's needs and benefits (Psalms 23:6; 65:11 But God's goodness is much more than those things. It is the very essence of God's nature His righteousness and holiness. In Ephesians 5:9, we see that His goodness is closely associated with righteousness and truth. 3

To the extent that we have God's goodness, we have godliness or God-likeness. The Bible gives us God's complete "instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). We should cherish it and read it far more than any other book or resource! Only through it can we learn to be like God. God's goodness consists of Righteousness, Holiness, Justice, Kindness, Grace, Mercy, Love, Good, Wise, Truthful, Faithful, Patient, True & genuine,. His compassion; His faithfulness; His forgiveness, God's goodness is the very essence of His nature Goodness is also one of the fruits of the Spirit that should characterize Christian believers <Gal. 5:22>. Christians are called to goodness, even as God the Father is perfect and good <Matt. 5:48>. Ephesians 5:9, Jesus wants His disciples to "bear much fruit" (John 15:8). Being fruitful requires action knowing the right thing to do and then doing it. As James wrote, "Be doers of the word" (James 1:22). Simply abstaining from evil and doing nothing is not good enough. Jesus "went about doing good" (Acts 10:38). We should too! "Through love, serve one another," we are told (Galatians 5:13). Jesus' parable of the sheep and goats shows that God knows how much we love Him by how much we are showing selfsacrificing love for other people (Matthew 25:31-46). "Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness" (Romans 15:14). May you likewise pursue spiritual growth so that one day it will be said of you: You are full of goodness. God's glory consists in his moral attributes--in his goodness. What is glory? THE VISIBLE MANIFESTATION OF THE FULL EXPRESSION OF HIS NATURE (CHARACTER, AND HIS ATTRIBUTES). What did God mean by that? He meant that his glory is the sum total of what he is: his goodness; these entire spiritual and moral attributes make God glorious and worthy to be praised. 4

HIS MORAL ATTRIBUTES The Bible describes God as omnipotence refers to the all-encompassing power of God; He is the all-powerful Lord, Jeremiah 32:17; Omnipresent His ability to be everywhere at all times, present everywhere in creation, Jeremiah 23:23,24; eternal, Genesis 21:33; unchanging, Psalm 102:27; sovereign, Ephesians 1:21; God is independent, Immutable, and Infinity, God is not bound by time and space. He exists as a spiritual being, having no form or dimensions, and his omniscient refers to God's superior knowledge and wisdom, His power to know all things He is the all-knowing Lord, perfect in every way, beautiful beyond comprehension, and is glorified through the revelation of Himself. God glory is the revelation of is character and his presence Heb 1:3 The Presence of God is His Power, influence, authority The glory of God is the full nature of God on display SO THE GLORY OF GOD IS THE FULL EXPRESSION OF GOD'S NATURE Whenever the invisible God becomes visible, and whenever the omnipresence of God is localized, this is the Shechinah Glory Fourth. REVELATION OF GOD'S GLORY Glory of God is needed to turn nation toward God, to penetrate countries, regions and people groups with the gospel and to see strongholds in our cities pulled down by the power of the name of Jesus, opening doors to bring the lost 5

THE GLORY OF GOD CHARACTER POWER, INFLUENCE, AUTHORITY GOODNESS HOLINESS LOVE The Glory of God: CHARACTER + POWER, INFLUENCE, AUTHORITY Goodness it is very essence of His nature Goodness is manifested in two ways 1) HOLINESS Because God is holy He hates all sin. "God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all" (1 John 1:5). God swears by His holiness because that is a fuller expression of Himself than anything else. Holiness is the separation from anything evil, sin, Sin separated us from God (For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God Rom 3:23) Holiness put me out 6

2) LOVE Man was made to rely on God and give Him glory. Instead man chose to rely on himself and seek his own glory to make a name for himself. So God has chosen to reveal His glory to the world through his Son Jesus (Love). blessed be His name that which His holiness demanded His "love, has provided in Christ God send love to become sin.unconditional Love Jesus died to restore Holiness Love Sacrificial Love bring me back.redemptive Love "Be ye holy, for I am holy" (1 Pet. 1:16) The Cross changed forever the way God's glory interacts with people. The New Covenant in Christ has opened the way for every believer to walk in God's glory. "And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit" (2 Co.3:18). With Moses, God's glory was a fading glory that had to be veiled (2 Co.3:13). Now, through the action of the Holy Spirit in our lives (Ro.8:1-11), God's glory is unveiled and ever-increasing! As we walk closely with the Lord, two things happen - we reflect the glory of God like a mirror and we are transformed into His glorious likeness. This is the purpose of God for our lives. As we walk in His purpose, the glory of God is revealed through us to the world. "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen" (Eph.3:20-21). The Glory of God is hidden in us as a seed. Sometime we can not see the glory that is why as seed we need to be put in a correct place or land to grow. And that right place is THE PRESENCE OF GOD. God has given us His Glory that s why we need His presence so the glory that was trapped in us will be exposed and maximized in our life. Praise attracts the presence of God; in The presence of God we manifest the glory of God. 7

God wants you to have His glory as your primary motivation in your plans, actions, and goals in everything (1 Peter 5:10). (1 Corinthians 10:31) When we accept and live by the wisdom of God, His glory is manifest on our faces. "Wisdom brightens a man's face and changes its hard appearance." (Ecclesiastes 8:1 ) Conclusion All of creation has as its goal and purpose the glory of God. He created everything for His own glory. Everything that exists has its existence from God and for God. Romans 11:36 says, For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. 8
