Opening Hymn #650 Holy Spirit, Ever Dwelling Confession of Sins and Absolution Page 151 Introit To you, O LORD,* I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame;* let not my enemies exult over me. Turn to me and be gra- cious to me,* for I am lonely and af- flicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged;* bring me out of my dis- tresses. Consider my affliction and my trouble,* and forgive all my sins. Oh, guard my soul, and de- liver me!* Let me not be put to shame, for I take ref- uge in you. Glory be to the Father and to the Son* and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the be- ginning,* is now, and will be forever. Amen. To you, O LORD,* I lift up my soul. As we move into the summer months we typically see fewer donations to support our continued financial needs. Please remember Zion with your contributions as you are able. We are approaching our Salary Fund loan limit which has been established by our lending bank. Building Fund Note: Enclosed in your June newsletter you were given an envelope for the Building Fund at Zion. Previously we have sent out one envelope for each communicant member. Depending on the size of the monthly newsletter, there are times when enclosing multiple envelopes would put us over our weight limit for the mailing. You can now combine family members contributions into one envelope. We will also have extra envelopes in the church office and in back of church. Be sure to write your name on the envelope. We will be doing this in November also, when the Building Fund envelope comes out for the thanksgiving collection.
