Unitile Wood Core Unitile Chip Board Unitile Wood Core (UWC) Systems consists of Engineered 600mm square modular panels constructed around a high density E1 grade chipboard core & fully encapsulated with GI on all six sides in a special mechanical interlocking of the top & bottom GI tray. This double folded lock construct into a panel that has an unique in-built stringer at the underside of each panel edge & exhibits fine dimensional tolerances for modular control, accurate alignment of grids & inter-changeability of panels. It fully meets the Euro Class requirement of EN 12825. The appropriate surface clearing is then laminated to the top surface. Electrical continuity is maintained through the top & bottom surface of the panel on to the pedestal head through conductive gasket and also ensures positioning & location of the floor panel on to the understructure system. 4 Unitile Chip Board (UCB) Systems consists of Engineered 600mm square modular panels constructed around a high density E1 grade chipboard core with high performance resin bonding. This Gravity lay floor panel fully meets the Euro Class requirements of EN 12825. The base surface of the core are laminated using a variety of options such as Aluminum, sheet steel, High Pressure Laminate etc. The appropriate surface covering is then laminated to the top surface of the core material and then trimmed for fine dimensional control, accurate alignment of grids and inter-changeability of panels. The design incorporates a full depth ABS edge band, which while providing total encapsulation of the chipboard core also protects the edge of the surface covering and ingress of moisture. Each floor panel is mechanically secured to the pedestal head at all four corners ensuring maximum rigidity and lateral stability. Access to the sub-floor is simply achieved by releasing the fasteners and lifting the panel.
