Peace Scripture Verses In The New Testament (Matthew 10:13) If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. (Matthew 10:34) "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. (Mark 5:34) He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." (Mark 9:50) "Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other." (Luke 2:14) "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." (Luke 2:29) "Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your servant in peace. (Luke 7:50) Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." (Luke 8:48) Then he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace." (Luke 10:5-6) "When you enter a house, first say, 'Peace to this house.' {6} If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you. (Luke 24:36) While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you." (John 14:27) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. (John 16:33) "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 20:19) On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" (John 20:21) Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." (John 20:26) A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" (Acts 9:31) Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace. It was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers, living in the fear of the Lord. (Acts 10:36) You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. (Acts 12:20) He had been quarreling with the people of Tyre and Sidon; they now joined together and sought an audience with him. Having secured the support of Blastus, a trusted personal servant of the king, they asked for peace, because they depended on the king's country for their food supply. (Acts 15:33) After spending some time there, they were sent off by the brothers with the blessing of peace to return to those who had sent them. (Acts 16:36) The jailer told Paul, "The magistrates have ordered that you and Silas be released. Now you can leave. Go in peace." (Acts 24:2) When Paul was called in, Tertullus presented his case before Felix: "We have enjoyed a long period of peace under you, and your foresight has brought about reforms in this nation. (Romans 1:7) To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus (Romans 2:10) but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. (Romans 5:1) Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Page 2 of 6

(Romans 8:6) The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; (Romans 12:18) If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. (Romans 14:17) For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, (Romans 14:19) Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. (Romans 15:13) May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:33) The God of peace be with you all. Amen. (Romans 16:20) The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. (1 Corinthians 1:3) Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus (1 Corinthians 7:15) But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. (1 Corinthians 14:33) For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the congregations of the saints, (1 Corinthians 16:11) No one, then, should refuse to accept him. Send him on his way in peace so that he may return to me. I am expecting him along with the brothers. (2 Corinthians 1:2) Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus (2 Corinthians 2:13) I still had no peace of mind, because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I said good-by to them and went on to Macedonia. (2 Corinthians 13:11) Finally, brothers, good-by. Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. (Galatians 1:3) Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, (Galatians 5:22-23) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, {23} gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 6:16) Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, even to the Israel of God. (Ephesians 1:2) Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus (Ephesians 2:14-15) For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, {15} by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, (Ephesians 2:17) He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. (Ephesians 4:3) Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. (Ephesians 6:14-15) Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, {15} and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. (Ephesians 6:23) Peace to the brothers, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus (Philippians 1:2) Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus (Philippians 4:7) And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:9) Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. (Colossians 1:2) To the holy and faithful brothers in Christ at Colosse: Grace and peace to you from God our Father. (Colossians 1:20) and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. (Colossians 3:15) Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. (1 Thessalonians 1:1) Paul, Silas and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace and peace to you. (1 Thessalonians 5:3) While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. Page 4 of 6

(1 Thessalonians 5:13) Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. (1 Thessalonians 5:23) May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus (2 Thessalonians 1:2) Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus (2 Thessalonians 3:16) Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. (1 Timothy 1:2) To Timothy my true son in the faith: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. (2 Timothy 1:2) To Timothy, my dear son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. (2 Timothy 2:22) Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (Titus 1:4) To Titus, my true son in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior. (Philemon 1:3) Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus (Hebrews 12:11) No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. (Hebrews 12:14) Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. (Hebrews 13:20-21) May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, {21} equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (James 3:17-18) But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peaceloving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. {18} Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. (1 Peter 3:11) He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it. Page 5 of 6

(1 Peter 5:14) Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in (2 Peter 1:2) Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. (2 Peter 3:14) So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. (2 John 1:3) Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father's Son, will be with us in truth and love. (3 John 1:14) I hope to see you soon, and we will talk face to face. Peace to you. The friends here send their greetings. Greet the friends there by name.
