Only when conscious, rinse mouth with plenty of water and give plenty of water to drink - (approx 500ml). DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. In case of spontaneous vomiting, be sure that vomit can freely drain because of danger of suffocation. Keep patient at rest and obtain medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with plenty of soap and water for 15 minutes then swab with glycerol/ims mixture (70/30%). Obtain medical attention. Launder clothing before re-use. Keeping eye open, immediately irrigate with water or eye-wash for 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES: 1/5

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: PROTECTIVE MEASURES IN FIRE: Use extinguishing media suitable against surrounding fire or the cause of fire. Noncombustible or flammable but will burn or decompose in fire situation. Take measures to retain water used for extinguishing. Do not release contaminated water into drains, soil and surface water. Dispose of contaminated water and soil according to local regulations. Noxious or toxic vapours may be released in fire situation. Fire fighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES: PERSONAL PRECAUTION IN SPILL: PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT ENVIRONMENT: SPILL CLEANUP METHODS: Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Prevent contamination of soil, drains and surface water. Take-up spillage with absorbent, inert material and place in a suitable and closable labelled container for recovery or disposal. Wash the area clean with water and detergent, observing environmental requirements. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE: USAGE PRECAUTIONS: STORAGE PRECAUTIONS: HANDLING - Product should be used in accordance with good industrial principles for handling and storing of hazardous chemicals. Avoid vapour inhalation, skin and eye contact. Avoid direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place, in securely closed original container. 8. Respiratory protection required in insufficiently ventilated woking areas. If unable to control vapour emissions below OES limits, wear self contained breathing apparatus. Use impervious gloves made of butyl rubber or PVC. Approved chemical safety goggles or face protection. Wear protective clothing and closed footwear. Wear suitable personal protective equipment appropriate to the task. SKIN PROTECTION - apply barrier cream to hands and exposed skin. Promptly remove any clothing that becomes contaminated. Toxic/systemic effects may cause, nausea, muscular weakness, shock or collapse. May cause systemic effects (poisoning) by skin absorption. Fat soluble and rapidly absorbed through the skin. Initially painless due to anaesthetising effect then irritation,rash or burning may develop. Affected tissue becomes white. Contact with skin area of approx. 20cm2 has been known to be fatal. Causes burns and may cause dermatitis. Sensitisation possible in predisposed persons. Causes burns. May cause severe corneal damage. Phenol has been found to cause cancer in laboratory animals and may cause adverse mutagenic effects.. Skin absorption. Inhalation. Central nervous system, lungs, liver and kidneys. 12.
