1. Overview 2. 2. Operation ON/OFF Set the power switch to ON and press the button for 1 second to turn on the device. The device enters into the shooting mode or the sound recording mode. To power Off In any status, press the button for 4 seconds, all lights will be turned off. The video recorder will automatically save the current file and shutdown. Mode Change mode switch is marked with Audio and Video for the change between video recording and sound recording Photo Function the photo function indicator is yellow, to access this function, you should put the mode switch to Video position; the device enters into the standby status and the yellow light is on and you can take photo at any time. If the mode switch is on the Video position but the blue light is ON or is flashing, it means that the device is in the Video function, you need to press the button for 2 seconds to exit the video function. Video Function put the mode switch to Video position. In the video function, there are two status: the blue light will be steady on standby and will flash on recording status. Audio Function put the mode switch to Audio position, the yellow and blue lights are on when it is in standby status. When it is recording audio, the blue indicator light is steady and the yellow light flashes. Taking Photo set the mode to video and the device enters into standby status and the yellow light is steady. Press the Operation button to capture an image, the yellow light will flash one time to complete the photo taking and image saving, then it goes back to standby status. Note: Ensure that the SD card is inserted and there is adequate light in the surroundings and the camera is not blocked. Keep the camera upright and stable, and the object should be more than 50cm from the camera. Record Video the blue light is steady when it is in standby status, press the Operation button to start recording and the blue light will flash slowly when it s recording. Note: In order to ensure good sound effect of recording, do not block the microphone hole. PC camera when the device is on, you can connect the device to the computer using a USB. In this mode, you can use the device as a PC camera.
Removable Disk connect the device to the computer using a USB cable so you can access the files on the device. Charging connect the device to the computer using the provided USB cable. During charging, the blue light will be flashing slowly. When the battery is fully charged, the blue light is steady. Note: the recorder has a built-in high capacity lithium polymer battery. The battery is with no memory effect. For the initial five times of charging, please charge the battery to saturation after the battery runs out. In order to maximize the capacity of storage battery, please continue to charge for 30 minutes to 1 hour after the indicator light is steady. Setup Time the video recorded provides the function to display the video record time in video file, the time display format: year, month, day, hours: minutes: seconds Turn off the camera and connect it to the computer, open the removable disk and create a notepad file and name it time Copy and paste this into the Root folder of your device and restart the device Troubleshooting When the storage space is insufficient, the blue light and yellow light flashes alternately about 5 seconds, then automatically save the current file and shuts down. To continue using the video recorder, copy the necessary files to the computer and delete the old documents in storage in order to free up some storage space. When the battery is insufficient, the blue and yellow light flash alternately about 5 seconds then automatically save the current file and shuts down. Charge the battery to continue using the recorder. If the video recorder stops responding due to improper operation or other unexpected reason, turn off the device and restart it.
