However, for the spiritual development of the child, we encourage keeping as much of the Ascended Master s Teachings as possible. Good morning and welcome everyone. This past week we celebrated All Saints Day. How many of you dressed up as a saint or as your favorite ascended master? We celebrate All Saints Day to honor the saints and individuals who have made their ascension. Have you ever thought about being a saint? Do you think it s possible? (Allow children to answer.) Once, an interviewer on a radio show asked our beloved Guru Ma, this question, What is the difference between the aura of the saints and 1
the aura of most of us? Our aura is the energy forcefield around us. It reflects the energy inside of us, in our chakras and in our thoughts. This is how Guru Ma answered about the aura, It can be answered in the simple of statement of Jesus: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." Not only shall they see God but they shall BE God. So their energy is pure in God. She also said, There are many saints walking around on earth today who do not know that they are saints and who are not recognized by others as saints. So the difference between the saint and the non- saint is the difference between the individual who has elected to be God and the one who has chosen not to be. And the way to become God is to develop our Christhood. Let s watch a short video of Guru Ma explaining how we can become closer our Christ self. (Play online video clip.) Now, you re going to help me with the next part of the story. We re to play a game. I m going to read a few Who Am I? stories about some ascended masters and saints who kept their eight cylinders in a straight path in the pipe line like Mother showed us in the video. Some of these ascended masters might be more familiar to you than others. If you think you know the answer, please raise your hand. I ll read the whole story before calling on anyone. Are you ready? Story One: Sometimes we like to think of the saints as having been born saints', but I was not born a saint. I am now often remembered as being 2
sweet, loving and obedient, yet this did not come naturally to me. In fact, when I was a child, my mother said I was unconquerably stubborn. Yet, I learned how to turn my stubbornness into an iron will in my love for Jesus. Even in my childhood I wanted to become a saint and to become perfected in God. I desired to put all of the strength of my heart s love into drawing souls into the light of Jesus Christ. Sometimes, this was difficult for me. I remember one time when I had to work really hard to be kind and compassionate. This happened with one the Sisters in my community whom I did not like to be around because of her disagreeable ways. But instead of responding to her in a hurtful manner, I would give her my most friendly smile and talk to her in a kind way. Who am I? (Allow children to answer.) Yes, Saint Thérèse of Lisieux (Show picture.) Story Two: I agreed to celebrate Christ s birthday in the town of Greccia, but wanted to honor the Christ child in a special way by enacting the memory of the infant born in Bethlehem. I told Giovanni to invite the townspeople, gather the hay and animals and a crèche and to bring a young infant who would play the role of our Lord. So it was that on December 24, 1223, the townspeople and I celebrated the birth of Jesus. When I beheld the infant in his crèche, I was overwhelmed with love and filled with a wonderful happiness, and I was 3
moved by the Light radiating from him. I am now given credit for bringing the Nativity scene into your modern- day Christmas celebrations, with the crèche, meaning manger that the infant Jesus lay in. I am now an ascended master and you see me displayed as part of your altar. Who am I? (Allow children to answer.) Yes, Saint Francis, now the ascended master Kuthumi. (Show picture of Saint Francis and point to Kuthumi s picture.) Story 3: Here s one that might be a little more challenging. In my final incarnation or lifetime 2700 years ago, I was the youngest of a large family of exceptionally gifted children. I was tutored by the archeia Charity to learn how to expand the threefold flame of love in my heart. I gave up my own career so that I could meditate and pray for my brothers and sisters in order that they could succeed in their various careers. At the end of my lifetime, when I saw the victory of each one of my brothers and sisters, my heart was full of joy and expanded with love. Some in the world thought that I had not accomplished much in this life, but I ascended thoroughly understanding the meaning of the self- mastery of the flame of love. I am now an ascended Lady Master. Who am I? (Allow children to answer.) Yes, Lady Master Nada. (Show picture.) Nada tells us today that it s not what we do with our hands; it s what we do with our hearts that 4
counts. Story 4: Here s our last story. I began my evolution in the elemental kingdom. When I mastered certain disciplines, I was transferred to the human kingdom and given a threefold flame and a chance to be on the spiritual path leading to my ascension. I serve under the ascended master Eriel. Once, when I was an infant born to an old Chinese family, my life had been threatened. Master Eriel rescued me. I made my ascension because of my enthusiastic and illumined obedience to my master, Eriel. Call to me when you feel burdened. I can show you the fun way on your path to your ascension. Who am I? (Allow children to answer.) Yes, I am Fun Wey, spelled W- E- Y. We do not have a picture of Fun Wey, so you can visualize Fun Wey in your own way. CONCLUSION: Think about how you can become closer to God and your Christ self. Think about how you best can serve God to balance your karma and do your mission. Do you all want to do that? Maybe someday, children will dress up as you for their All Saints Day costume. Let s go forth and be a saint here on earth and remember to say, Hitherto, hath the Lord helped us! Thank you for being here. Have a great day. 5
