Bravuris 2 Brillantis 2 The economical high performer. Good all round! And value for money. Barum s fast all-rounder for long-lasting fun. Bravuris 2 Performance, steering precision, long service life. Brillantis 2 Balanced handling and driving pleasure on wet and dry roads. The asymmetrical tread pattern ensures optimum contact with the ground, enabling balanced handling and making driving highly enjoyable on wet and dry roads. Greater protection against aquaplaning and better driving characteristics in the wet. Lots of tread blocks on the inside of the tyre resulting in a high number of gripping edges displace the water when it is raining. The driving characteristics improve and the risk of aquaplaning is reduced. Shorter braking distances and better directional stability. The tread pattern with optimised tread blocks ensures an even stiffness of the tyre. Thus the vehicle is safe and firm on the road with short braking distances. H/V/W/Y 15 20 195 265 35 65 High mileage. The flat contour of the Brillantis 2 evenly distributes the ground pressure. This increases mileage. Greater safety during critical steering manoeuvres. The asymmetrical tread with a solid outer shoulder gives the tyre good transverse rigidity in the outer shoulder blocks. The result: greater safety for critical steering manoeuvres. Greater protection against aquaplaning and shorter braking distances on wet roads. Continuous lateral grooves on the inside and narrow grooves in the blocks allow water to flow away freely. This increases aquaplaning prevention and shortens the braking distances on wet roads. T/H/V 13 18 135 225 60 80 Low rolling noise. The reduced width of grooves in the shoulder area and a lower volume of transverse grooves make road noise pleasantly quiet.
Bravuris 4x4 Vanis 2 You can count on having lots of fun at the wheel! Vanis 2 gets you further. Good grip, good price, good deal. Bravuris 4x4 The mix makes the difference: the smooth riding fuel saver. Vanis 2 High safety and short braking distance on wet and dry roads. Large, robust blocks on the shoulder increase stiffness and support the tread blocks when braking. The new tread compound ensures better adhesion with the road surface and excellent grip in wet conditions. The two together increase safety when braking on wet and dry roads. Increased driving comfort and no annoying tyre noise when travelling. The tyre tread has a different number of blocks on the shoulder and centre section, which means the peak noise spectra are at different frequencies for the tyre shoulder and centre. This keeps the noise to a low level. The blocks are divided by sipes, smoothing out the noise peaks. High mileage performance for a long service life. The extremely flat tyre contour evenly distributes the ground pressure without load peaks. Optimised tread blocks ensure even stiffness. This reduces slipping in the tyre contact area. The wear-resistant tyre compound minimises wear and tear - for high mileage and a long service life. T/H/V 15 18 205 265 Querschnitt 55 80 High level of safety thanks to short braking distances on dry surfaces. Tie bars in the pattern centre and stable block type tread ensure optimised stiffness distribution in the pattern and increase the longitudinal stability in the blocks. This shortens braking distances on dry roads and increases safety. Excellent price-performance ratio thanks to improved mileage. The flat contour gives the Vanis 2 a large ground contact area which leads to a higher wear volume. In addition the low-wear compound increases the mileage and therefore the economy. Increased driving comfort thanks to reduced noise level. Noise breakers in the shoulder section reduce road noise and improve driving comfort. Q/R/T 14 16 165 235 Querschnitt 65 80
The right tyres for each season Winter tyres in winter Winter tyres below 7 C Due to their special rubber compound and tread design, winter tyres have a better grip on icy and wet winter roads and thus make driving significantly safer. Their ribbed structure enables winter tyres to bite effectively into ice and snow. During the colder half of the year, winter tyres are not only beneficial on grounds of safety, but also provide clear advantages on the financial front in terms of motoring performance. Summer tyres in summer Summer tyres above 7 C Special summer tyre compounds and treads facilitate short braking distances on both wet and dry surfaces. Under summery road surface conditions, summer tyres guarantee a highly stable drive when cornering. Their special compound components make summer tyres longer lasting in high temperatures than their winter counterparts and they reduce fuel consumption. - 10 C 0 C 7 C 10 C 20 C
Polaris 3 SnoVanis 2 Black on white - the price is right. Drive and save without compromise. Good grip in snow. Polaris 3 Greater safety with reduced costs. SnoVanis 2 Polaris 3 Standard Optimised setting-off and braking in snow. Snow catchers keep the snow in the grooves, optimise start-up on snowy roads and enable controlled braking. Low rolling resistance and reduced fuel consumption. An extra groove in the shoulder block minimises rolling resistance and therefore also fuel consumption. T/H/V 13 19 135 265 Short braking distances and optimum traction on snow. With the newly developed winter compound, a combination of tread pattern blocks and lateral sipes ensure optimum traction and short braking distances on snow-covered roads. Very efficient thanks to less fuel consumption. The abrasion of the SnoVanis 2 is low, which leads to high performance and a long service life. Thanks to the reduced rolling resistance, fuel consumption decreased. Q/R/T 14 16 165 235 Low wear means high mileage performance. Sipes of different depths, arranged obliquely to the block edge, ensure low tyre wear. This increases durability and cost efficiency. 40 80 Holds the line when cornering, even on wet surfaces. Numerous gripping edges, the high volume of grooves and snow pockets in the outer grooves mean the tyre achieves excellent snow-to-snow adhesion. As a result, the SnoVanis 2 maintains full directional stability even when cornering on wet roads. 65 80
Barum Czech Rally Zlín Notes Barum initiates a key rally Rallying is very popular in the Czech Republic. This is the secret to the success of the Barum Czech Rally Zlín, which was held for the first time in 1971. It became a part of the Czech rally championship a year later, in 1972. The rally initiated by Barum is now one of the most important events in the international rally calendar. It has also been a part of the renowned lntercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) since 2007 and features in the European Rally Championship too. A major challenge for man and machine The rally stages are anything but easy, alternating between high-speed stretches through forests and tricky asphalt sections. In addition, the weather can often be very changeable, demanding extra strong performance not only of the drivers, but also of their equipment such as the tyres. In all, the competitors have to cover a distance of 720 kilometres over three days. Top drivers and hundreds and thousands of fans flock to Zlín The popular event is considered to be a highlight in the European rally scene, not least because it draws in some 300,000 spectators from a variety of countries every year. There is also a great deal of media interest in the event. The line-up traditionally features top drivers, such as the rally world champion Walter Röhrl and the European champion Jan Kopecký, who has won the rally a number of times. Every August, the rally scene therefore sets its sights on Zlín, where the Barum story began.
