In the name + of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Opening Intention O Lord, I unite my heart with all the Saints in heaven and with all the Just on earth; I unite with You, my Jesus, to praise Your holy Mother worthily and to praise You in her and through her. I renounce all the distractions that may come to me while I am praying this rosary. O Lord, I offer You this rosary for the increase in vocations to the priesthood, religious life and the permanent diaconate and for a strengthening of all current vocations, lay or religious. O Lord, I offer You this opening Creed to honor the faith You brought to Your Apostles upon this earth and to ask You to permit me to share in that same faith. Most Holy Trinity, I offer You this opening Our Father to adore You in Your oneness and to acknowledge You as the first cause and the last end of all things. O Heavenly Father, I offer You these three opening Hail Mary s to thank You for all the graces which You have given to Mary and which You have given to Your followers through her intercession. O Jesus, may Your Mother Mary watch over and protect all young men and women considering a vocational call to priestly or religious life Opening Prayers I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day, he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Hail Mary, full of Grace, The Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen Page 1

Hail Mary full of Grace, The Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen Hail Mary, full of Grace, The Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen + Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. The First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection - Our Lord s Resurrection brought tremendous joy to His sorrowful followers. Never again would their lives to be the same. Let us offer this decade for an increase in grace in the hearts of those who are being called to be priests and vowed religious. May they experience the immense joy of giving God their entire lives and saying yes to His call. Help them to realize that their unselfish response to God will change their lives forever Our Father 'I tell you most solemnly, you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy.' (John 16:20) 'For I shall see you again, and your hearts will be full of joy, and that joy no one shall take from you.' (John 16:22) " At the first sign of dawn, they went to the tomb with the spices they had prepared. (Luke 24:1.) And all at once the angel of the Lord, descending from heaven, came and rolled away the stone and sat on it. (Matthew 28:2) 'I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here.' (Matthew 28:5-6) 'He has risen from the dead. Come and see the place where he lay.' (Luke 24:6; Matthew 28:6-7) Page 2

'And now he is going before you to Galilee; it is there you will see him.' (Matthew 28:7) And the women came out from the tomb filled with awe and great joy. (Mark 16:8; Matthew 28:8) 'I am the resurrection and the life. If anyone believes in me, even though he dies he will live.' (John 11:25) 'And whoever lives and believes in me will never die.' (John 11:26) + Glory be... (Fatima Prayer) O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen. The Second Glorious Mystery: The Ascension - Jesus ascended into Heaven, not to abandon us, but to be our hope. He continually intercedes for us before the throne of the Father and prepares a place for His faithful followers in the heavenly Kingdom. Let us offer this decade for an increase in the number of priests and vowed religious to help us strive faithfully to attain our heavenly homeland. May these men and women always recognize the irreplaceable mission they have in the plan of our salvation Our Father Jesus took them out as far as the outskirts of Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. (Luke 24:50) He said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.' (Matthew 28:18) 'Go, therefore make disciples of all the nations.' (Matthew 28:19) 'Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.' (Matthew 28:19) Page 3

'And teach them to observe all the commands I gave you.' (Matthew 28:20) 'He who believes and is baptized will be saved.' (Mark 16:16) 'He who does not believe will be condemned.' (Mark 16:16) 'And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time. (Matthew 28:20) As he said this he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight. (Acts 1:9) And so the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven; there at the right hand of God he took his place. (Mark 16:19) + Glory be... O my Jesus... The Third Glorious Mystery: The Descent of the Holy Spirit - The coming of the Holy Spirit transformed the timid Apostles into bold witnesses for the Gospel. The Church was sent forth with courage and zeal! Let us offer this decade for the power of the Holy Spirit to come upon all He has chosen to labor as priests and religious. May they respond boldly to the invitation to lay down their lives for Christ and His Church Our Father When Pentecost day came around, they had all met in one room. (Acts 2:1) Suddenly they heard what sounded like a powerful wind from heaven, the noise of which filled the entire house. (Acts 2:2) And something appeared to them that seemed like tongues of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. (Acts 2:3) Page 4

They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak about the marvels of God. (Acts 2:4, 11) Now there were devout men living in Jerusalem from every nation under heaven. (Acts 2:5) And Peter stood up with the Eleven and addressed them in a loud voice. (Acts 2:14) 'Repent and be baptized, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.' (Acts 2:38) And they accepted what he said and were baptized. That very day about three thousand were added to their number. (Acts 2:41) Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created; and you shall renew the face of the earth. (Pentecost Alleluia) Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful; and kindle in them the fire of your love. (Pentecost Alleluia) + Glory be... O my Jesus... The Fourth Glorious Mystery: The Assumption of Mary - The Second Vatican Council reminded us that Mary s role in salvation history did not end with her Assumption into Heaven. She continually intercedes for all of us, her children, as we journey through life. Let us offer this decade asking Mary s intercession. Through her prayers may the Church be granted an abundance of vocations to the priesthood and religious life Our Father 'Come then, my love, my lovely one, come. (Songs 2:10) 'For see, winter is past, the rains are over and gone.' (Songs 2:11) Page 5

'Show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet and your face is beautiful. (Songs 2:14) And the sanctuary of God in heaven opened. Then came flashes of lightning and peals of thunder, (Revelations 11:19) Now a great sign appeared in heaven; a woman, adorned with the sun. (Revelations 12:1) She was standing on the moon, with the twelve stars on her head for a crown. (Revelations 12:1) With jewels set in gold, and dressed in brocades, the king's daughter is led in to the king. (Psalm 45:13-14) May you be blessed, my daughter, by God Most High, beyond all women on earth. (Judith 13:23) The trust you have shown shall not pass from the memories of men, but shall ever remind them of the power of God. (Judith 13:2) You are the glory of Jerusalem! You are the great pride of Israel! You are the highest honor of our people! (Judith 15:10) + Glory be... O my Jesus... The Fifth Glorious Mystery: The Coronation of Mary - This mystery brings before us the beauty of the faithfulness of Mary, the first disciple of the Lord. She who referred to herself as the handmaid of the Lord is now exalted far above even the Angels. The one who said yes to God in all things is now the Queen of heaven and earth. Let us offer this decade for those called to the priesthood and religious life who struggle with troubles and temptations, asking Mary to intercede on their behalf so that they may always remain faithful to their calling and true to Our Lord Page 6

Our Father Who is this arising like the dawn, fair as the moon, resplendent as the sun? (Songs 6:10) Like the rainbow gleaming against brilliant clouds, like blossoms in the days of spring. (Ecclesiastes 50:7-8) 'I am the rose of Sharon, I am the lily of the valleys.' (Songs 2:1) 'My throne is in a pillar of cloud, and for eternity I shall remain.' (Ecclesiastes 24:4,9) 'Approach me, you who desire me, and take your fill of my fruits.' (Ecclesiastes 24:19) 'I am like a vine putting out graceful shoots, my blossoms are sweeter than honey.' (Ecclesiastes 24:17,20) 'And now, my children, listen to me; listen to instruction and learn to be wise.' (Proverbs 8:32-33) 'Happy are those who keep my ways, who day after day watch at my gates.' (Proverbs 8:32,34) 'For those who find me find life, and win favor from the Lord.' (Proverbs 8:35) Hail, Queen of mercy, protect us from the enemy, and receive us at the hour of death. (Queenship of the B.V.M.) + Glory be... O my Jesus... Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve, to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Page 7

P/. R/. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Let us Pray: O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life. Grant, we beseech Thee that in meditating upon these mysteries of the most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen In the name + of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Additional Prayers that may be prayed at the conclusion of the Rosary: Memorare Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful; O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy clemency hear and answer me. Amen. Magnificat My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. For He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden, For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name. And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with His arm: He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted those of low degree. He has filled the hungry with good things; and the rich He has sent empty away. He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy; As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to His posterity forever. Regina Coeli O, queen of heaven, rejoice! Alleluia. For He whom thou didst merit to bear, Alleluia, Hath arisen as He said, Alleluia. Pray for us to God, Alleluia. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary. Alleluia. For the Lord hath risen indeed. Alleluia. Page 8

Let us pray O God, who, through the Resurrection of Thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ, didst vouchsafe to fill the world with joy; grant, we beseech Thee, that, through His Virgin Mother, Mary, we may lay hold on the joys of everlasting life.
