Centre College A. Eugene Brockman Residential Commons, Danville, KY A new residential community for upper-level students, the new Brockman Residential Commons consists of five free-standing structures that gracefully wrap a landscaped courtyard to form a new campus quad. Each townhouse is designed at residential scale with different entries, shutter colors and other details that establish identity and wayfinding. The centerpiece of the new residential community is the one-story Commons Building featuring a spacious community lounge and shared amenities including a fullservice kitchen and large laundry.

Centre College Pearl Hall, Danville, KY Housing 146 juniors and seniors, Pearl Hall is the first LEED Gold certified building in Kentucky. Designed by Hastings+Chivetta, the residence hall is a suite-style configuration. Most suites accommodate four students in single bedrooms with individual temperature controls, two bathrooms and a common area with convenience kitchen. Each floor has a large community kitchen, a common area and smaller study spaces. A community laundry is on the lower level.

Berea College "Deep Green" Residence Hall, Berea, KY Hastings+Chivetta in association with Hellmuth+Bicknese Architects, designed the new 121-bed residence hall on target to achieve LEED Platinum Certification and Petal Recognition under the Living Building Challenge. An integrated building dashboard system monitors energy production and use to keep students aware of their consumption. In keeping with the tradition of Berea's Work Program, students from the campus Wood Studio are assisting with the design and construction of furnishings, with wood being sourced directly from the 8,000 acre FSC Certified Berea College Forest.

Hanover College Crowe Hall Renovation, Hanover, IN Crowe Hall, originally constructed in 1949, was redesigned to incorporate more group study and gathering spaces. 129 students are housed in suites, single and double rooms. Hastings+Chivetta designed suites for three to four students, each with a private lounge, convenience kitchen and bathroom. Group activity/lounge spaces were a focus of the renovation, all designed for comfort and flexibility.

Hanover College Beta Theta Pi Fraternity House, Hanover, IN The Beta Theta Pi Fraternity House at Hanover College was the first new Greek facility to be built on the campus in over 40 years. Designed by Hastings+Chivetta, the Beta House is constructed to reflect with the Georgian Colonial architecture on campus. The main level of the Beta Theta Pi House has dining and socialization spaces and the house director s suite while the lower level has a large community meeting room. The upper two levels accommodate 38 students in a variety of room configurations.

Southwestern University Brown Cody Residence Halls, Georgetown, TX Hastings+Chivetta was selected to provide professional services for this new three-story structure, which houses 132 women in 33 four-bedroom suites. Each suite has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Each floor has study rooms with attached computer rooms as well as outdoor porches. The ground floor of the facility has a large meeting room and lounge, resident advisor apartment, laundry facilities, and storage facilities. The exterior of the three-level structure is constructed of Texas limestone to match the existing buildings on campus.
