Global Clinical Observer Program Global Clinical Observer program, participants will receive a certificate of attendance confirming their participation. This program was developed for individuals interested in rotating through Cleveland Clinic as a stepping stone for securing U.S. residencies or fellowships. This four-week program is designed to provide a shadowing experience for international medical graduates (IMGs), who spend one week in each of four specialties: Cardiology Gastroenterology Pulmonary medicine Infectious diseases) The Global Clinical Observer Program is open to: Foreign medical graduates who have applied or intend to apply for a residency or fellowship in the United States and are ECFMG-certified. ECFMG certification is a requirement, and candidates must be able to submit proof of certification as part of their application material. International Nurse Scholar Program The International Nurse Scholar Program provides immersion in selected leadership and clinical areas involving didactic learning, interactive leadership opportunities, and a shadowing or immersion experience. The program is aimed at individuals who are already practicing in the field of nursing and who have a deep interest in expanding their knowledge. Program duration varies, depending on the participant s learning objectives and the expressed needs of their institution. The International Preceptorship Program is open to: Fully trained international physicians and specialists with several years of medical practice, who may or may not hold administrative roles at their hospitals. Fully trained physicians with clear and specific learning objectives who may have a limited time frame in which to participate in an education program. Programs focus on knowledge acquisition and skill attainment at all levels and in all areas of nursing practice. Administrative fellowship programs Administrative Fellowship Program The highly respected Administrative Fellowship Program is a 12-month, full-time program at Cleveland Clinic s main campus in Ohio. The program, established in 1977, offers valuable experience for healthcare administration professionals early in their careers. Administrative fellows are able to build a solid platform of leadership and project management skills within a large integrated health system. The program provides invaluable insight into the important physician-administrator dynamic and helps participants identify the key characteristics of success. The Administrative Fellowship Program is open to: Qualified applicants who hold a Masters degree (MBA, MHA, MHSA) or who have completed equivalent course work. Preferred applicants hold a Masters degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). However, applications from non-cahme programs will be accepted for review. International Administrative Fellowship Program The Cleveland Clinic International Administrative Fellowship is a unique offering among hospital-based fellowship programs.
