Working with Business Architecture Objects Object definitions Objects: thing, entity, something that is within the grasp of the senses and that which a subject relates to. Meta-object: Meta objects are entities that manipulate, create, describe, or implements other objects. A meta object should therefore define the object's type, relation attributes, functions, control structures, etc. (Business Architecture has 58 Meta Objects) Object Group: a generalization of a group built on common purpose, goal, an aim, target, objective and sets (Business Architecture has 4 main Object Groups) Object Meta Model: A object metamodel is a precise definition of the constructs, relations and rules of the meta objects. The LEAD Meta-models are based on the concepts of 1) ontologies, thereby the understanding of the nature of the specific objects, 2) semantics in terms of relations as well as 3) rules. All three are used to describe and analyze the relations between concepts.
