If there is something that we ve missed, we would be happy to help answer any other questions that you have, don t hesitate to ask us. All of the info here, along with further info is available in your welcome guide in each holiday home. Check-in/out times We will meet you on arrival at your holiday home. Please call us when you set off to agree a meeting time. Check-in: by appointment- between 4 and 9 pm Check-out: before 10 am Deposit A deposit payment is required on arrival: this will be returned to you on departure subject to verification that no damages have occured. Electricity & Water All electricity and water consumption is included in the rental price. (heating & hot water is electric). Linen & equipment Each holiday home is fully equipped : cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, glassware & dish towels. The beds will be made ready for your arrival and towels are supplied. Animals Dogs and cats are very welcome and without supplement. Other animals on request. Cleaning Service Your holiday home will be clean and in good condition on arrival. We ask that you leave your holiday home in a tidy state with no dirty dishes. Cleaning is not planned during your stay but can be arranged on request. It is not necessary to wash linen or towels before you leave, your holiday home will be cleaned and serviced after your departure (included in the price). Toiletries Toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel & lotion are not supplied in the Holiday Homes. The château The castle itself is private and used exclusively for private events. The rental of a holiday home on the estate does not provide access to the castle or its facilities, except of course if you or your group have a chateau rental contract in conjunction with your holiday home rental.
Bakery & bread ordering There is an excellent bakery in Randan: La Boulangerie Tupone 10 Place des Sports 63310 Randan. Tél : +33 (0)4 70 1 55 65. Open every day except Sunday afternoon & Monday. La boulangerie Mathillon, also in Randan, is open on Mondays. You can also pre-order & collect bread and croissants from the bar/tabac «La Tanche» at Les Graveyrons (a short walk from the Holiday Homes). Telephone your order before 6 PM the night before. Supermarkets & Pharmacy The bigger supermarkets such as Leclerc, Carrefour or Cora are all available in Vichy (12 km). Leclerc is the closest big supermarket, at Bellerive sur Allier : direction Vichy, you will find it by turning left at the roundabout just before entering Bellerive. There are also smaller supermarkets closer by (also open Sunday mornings) such as Intermarché in Randan (7 km) and Carrefour Market at Saint Yorre (7 km). The closest pharmacy is in Randan. Markets Vichy covered market: (6800 m2 exclusively for local producers and artisans) : open Tuesday to Sunday from 7am to 1pm and also additional opening hours on Fridays, Saturdays & bank holidays from 4pm to 7pm. Local farmers also open their stalls on the mezzanine of the covered market (2 000 m2) every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday morning from 7am until 1pm. Riom : Grand marché alimentaire Big Food Market (tens of local farmers & artisans) and fair (local stall holders) Saturday mornings, from 8am until mid-day. Gannat : Saturday mornings. Maringues : Buy your fresh eggs direct from the local farms at this Poultry Market held on Monday mornings from 8am to mid-day. Puy Guillaume : Wednesday mornings from 8am to mid-day. Television & DVD TV by satellite is available in each holiday home with the main French channels, along with a small selection of English, German and Spanish channels. A DVD player is also provided in each holiday home. Internet & Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all holiday homes. All external calls are chargeable and will be invoiced on departure. The price per unit is 0,35.
