SECTION 1 ELIGIBILITY KANSAS MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY 1.1 Owners Forms Forms ML-1, ML-2, ML-2ACV, ML-3 and ML-8 may only be issued to: (a) The owner-occupant of the farm; or (b) The owner-non occupant of the farm if the farm is tenant operated under either the Named Insured's direct management or under the terms of a management contract; or (c) The owner or a co-owner of the farm in a private or incorporated farming venture. The Named Insured must have an equal or controlling financial interest in the venture, occupy the residence the insured under the policy and have primary responsibility for supervision of the Farm operation. (A partnership or corporation cannot be shown as the Named Insured on the Declarations.) (d) It is permissible to cover certain interests of a person or persons who do not reside on or work the farm premises. They can be covered by using additional insured endorsement form ML-315 at no additional charge. e) On Forms ML-2 or ML-3, the amount of insurance must be 80% or more of replacement cost. On Forms ML-1, ML-2ACV and ML-8 the amount of insurance must be less than 80% of replacement cost. (f) On Form ML-8 only, a tenant-occupied dwelling or farm buildings. 1.2 CONTENTS Form ML-4 may be issued to a tenant farmer who occupies a farm residence specifically identified in the policy for residential purposes and is engaged in the farming operation. 1.3 SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS A policy may only be issued when the main residence insured: (a) is used exclusively for residential purposes (except for those incidental occupancies permitted by this manual and which have been declared and the appropriate premium charge made); and (b) contains no more than 1 or 2 families with no more than two roomers or boarders per family. 1.4 SUBMIT TO COMPANY (Agents have no binding authority) The following must be submitted to the Company for determination of eligibility: (a) A farm where business pursuits other than farming are conducted; (b) Vacant or unoccupied farms (added to primary Farmowners Policy). 1.5 MODULAR HOMES AND DOUBLE-WIDES (a) (b) (d) (e) (t) (g) (h) (i) (j) (k) Must be tied down and set on a permanent continuous masonry foundation of cement block or solid concrete. Must have central forced air heating system. Must have a modern electrical system. Must meet all Kansas mandatory requirements. Must have composition shingle roofing. Must have wood, masonite or vinyl siding. NO aluminum siding allowed. Must have 2" X 4" or greater interior wall studs - 16" on center. No Iroodburning devices of any type are allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, factory fireplaces. Must be at least 24' wide. Must be less than 15 years old at time of submission. No Modular or Double-wide home qualified as a Type A dwelling. If acceptable to company surcharge applies - see rule 16.0. SECTION 2 FORMS 2.1 Forms ML-1, ML-2ACV, or ML-8 Basic or Broad Form Actual Cash Value - No replacement cost provisions in the forms. (a) Dwelling must be in good condition. (b) Dwelling must have either a central heating plant, thermostatically controlled gas or oil fired space heaters. (c) (d) Dwelling must have a central heating system (with no space heaters). Auxiliary fireplaces are permissible if properly installed and vented to an approved tilelined chimney. Dwelling must have a modern electrical and plumbing system in good repair. FP-2 (Ed. 02/10)

2.2 Form ML-2 - Broad Form Replacement Cost Provisions, Coverage A only. (a) Dwelling must be in excellent condition. (b) Dwelling must have central heating system (with no space heaters). Auxiliary fireplaces are permissible if properly installed and vented to an approved tile-lined chimney. (c) Dwelling must have a modern electrical and plumbing system in excellent repair. (d) Dwelling must have a continuous enclosed foundation. 2.3 Form ML-3 - All Risk-Replacement Cost Provisions, Coverage A only. (a) Dwelling must be in excellent condition showing evidence of proper maintenance and good housekeeping. (b) Dwelling must have central heating system (with no space heaters). Auxiliary fireplaces are permissible if properly installed and vented to an approved tile-lined chimney. (c) Dwelling must have a modern electrical and plumbing system in excellent repair. (d) Dwelling must have a continuous enclosed foundation. 2.4 Form ML-4 - Broad Form Coverage. Actual Cash Value. Full time tenant farmers personal property only. (a) Form ML-4 covers personal property, including the insured's interest in building additions, alterations and additional living expense against loss by the same perils as shown for Form ML-2. 2.5 Other Property Coverages Forms ML-6A and ML-7 contain provisions for insuring Farm Personal Property-Coverage E, and Farm Barns, Buildings and Structures-Coverage F 2.5.1 Coverage E-Farm Personal Property insures against loss due to the perils provided for in Forms ML-6A or ML-7. Coverage may be written as follows: Blanket-Insures all unscheduled property, with certain exceptions, subject to a co-insurance percentage. Attach Form ML-7. Scheduled-Insures the property specifically listed. Attach Form ML-6A. FP-3 (Ed. 12-92)

2.5.2 Coverage F-Farm Barns, Buildings and Structures (a) Under Form ML-6A the specified Farm Barns, Buildings and Structures are insured against loss due to the perils provided in Form ML-6A. Attach Form ML-6A. (b) When Form ML-6A is issued to a tenant, the Insured's interest in improvements and betterments made to Leased Farm Barns, Buildings and Structures, as specified including any insurable interest in improvements, which may be removed at termination of the lease, is insured against loss due to the perils provided in Form ML-6A. Attach Form ML-6A. 2.6 Liability Coverages - (Mandatory except Form ML-8) Personal Liability (Farm) - Pays on behalf of the Insured for damages due to bodily injury or property damage caused by an occurrence arising out of the farm premises and operations or the Insured's personal activities. Use Form ML-10. Medical Payments to Others - Pays medical expenses incurred by persons who are not Insureds if the bodily injury arises out of the Insured's farm or personal activities. Use Form ML-10.

SECTION 3 PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The following is a general description of the covera ges provided by the Farm Protector forms. Personal Property is covered for the same perils as shown above for Form ML-2. FP-5 (Ed. 02/10)

SECTION 4 DEFINITIONS 4.1 Construction Definitions Masonry A dwelling with walls of masonry or masonry veneered construction. Frame - A dwelling with walls of frame, metal-sheathed, stuccoed frame construction, or with walls of metal lath and plaster on combustible supports. Mixed Construction dwelling shall be classified as frame construction, when the wall area of frame construction (including gables) exceeds 33-1/3% of the total wall area. 4.2 Definitions Applicable to Farm Dwellings, Barns, Outbuildings and Structures. 4.2.1 Main Farm Dwellings Type A (a) Eligibility (1) Minimum amount of Insurance Coverage A - *** (2) Insured for 90% to 100% of replacement cost (3) Dwelling must be 25 years old or less at the time of initial policy issuance. (4) Once the dwelling insured reaches 40 years of age type B dwelling rates would then apply. *** See special underwriting rules page. FP - 6 (Ed. 02i 0)

4.2.1 (cont.) (b) (c) Dwelling must be of superior construction and in excellent repair, and so certified by the agent after careful inspection. Dwelling must meet all of the following requirements: (I) A modem heating system consisting of one of the following: (a) Central heating plant consisting of a permanently installed warm air furnace, hot water, or steam plant resting on an incombustible base, and vented to a masonry lined chimney built from the round, or to an approved factory-made vent pipe; or (b) A permanently installed modem electric heating system installed by a competent electrician in compliance with local building code requirements; or (c) Heating by rigidly piped and permanently installed thermostatically controlled approved gas or oil fueled floor, ceiling or wall furnaces, provided that all the foregoing are vented to a masonry lined chimney built from the ground or to a factory-made vent pipe. (2) Must have continuous mortared masonry foundation (porches excepted). (3) Must have modem interior plumbing and electrical systems. (4) Must not have exposed urethane or styrene insulation. (h) Dwelling must be in good repair and so certified by the Agent after careful Inspection. (c) Heating by rigidly piped and permanently installed thermostatically controlled Approved gas or oil fueled floor, ceiling or wall furnaces, provided that all the Foregoing are vented to masonry-lined chimney built form the ground or to a Factory made vent pipe. (d) No exposed urethane or styrene insulation. (e) Plumbing and electrical systems must be in good repair. 4.2.3 Main Farm Dwelling - Type C (a) Eligibility (1) Minimum amount of insurance Coverage A Form ML-1 *** Form ML-2(ACV) *** (2) Must be insured of Actual Cash Value, normally not less than 50% of replacement cost. (b) Dwelling must be average construction and repair, and so certified by Agent after careful inspection. (c) Must have modem heating system. (d) No exposed urethane or styrene insulation (e) Plumbing and electrical systems must be in good repair. 4.2.4 Main Farm Dwelling - Type D (a) Eligibility (1) Minimum amount of insurance Coverage A Basic *** Broad Form *** (2) Must be insured for actual cash value, normally not less than 50% of Replacement cost. (b) Dwelling must be of average construction and repair, and so certified by Agent after careful inspection. (c) (d) (e) Must have a modern heating system No exposed urethane or styrene insulation. Plumbing and electrical systems must be in good repair Dwelling may be owner or tenant- occupied 4.3 Coverage E- Farm Personal Property (a) Personal property not otherwise provided for includes: (I) Grain.
