Electrical Permit Fees Sec. 18-255. a) All electrical permit fees must be paid before any project is started. The schedule of fees is as follows: Residential: New, additions, and/or remodels that result in expansion of square footage. (This includes but may not be limited to single family attached, single family detached, duplexes, multifamily and manufactured housing. Based on enclosed finished area). FINISHED SQUARE T Permit Processing Fee Less than 1,000 square feet. 1,000 square feet to 2,000 square feet. Per 100 square feet in excess of 2,000 square feet. $5.00 $56.00 $84.00 $80.00 for the first 2,000 square feet + $3.75 per 100 square feet OR fraction thereof in excess of 2,000 square feet. Sign Permit Fees Sec. 118-129 Construction permit Operating permit PERMIT TYPE The fee for a construction permit shall be $0.60 per square foot for a permanent sign construction permit. The fee for an operating permit shall be $25 plus $0.25 for each square foot or fraction thereof to the sign face in excess of 100 square feet.
