Headends Modular SAT-TV-headend for community systems SPM 2.000 SPM 1000 telecontrol The PolyCompact base units provide module slots for up to ten modules resp. up to 40 programmes. They contain the mainboard with control bus, power supply unit, active combiner with amplifier and test output, dot matrix LC display and controller unit. The IP capable base unit allows full administration of the headend via LAN or the internet. Thus status queries and programming of new or changed transponders do not require on-site inspection anymore. Thanks to the watch-dog-timer there are no more frozen modules, which guarantees uninterrupted continuous operation. The PC headend administration tool and firmware updates are freely available. The TST 1200 converts the satellite signals into a lower frequency range which can be distributed via the existing network. Green Line multiswitches proved quality following German standards POLYTRON s Green Line multiswitches are used for the economical distribution of SAT-IF polarisations and terrestrial signals. The cascadable multiswitches extend the possible number of the participants / receivers provided with the processed signals. The cascade end multiswitches are equipped with a power supply unit to feed the LNB. The selection of the IF polarisation is done by the analogue control signals 14/18 V, 0/22 khz and DiSEqC 2.0 for input selections. Of course the multiswitches are optimally applicable for digital signals as well as HDTV signals.
