Savings accounts Shares Shares represent equity in Évangéline-Central Credit Union and form part of your own personal wealth. These funds are yours, they appear on your regular statement and are refundable upon ownership cancellation. A minimum of $5.00 must be maintained in your Shares account at all times Customer-owners are equal in share requirement Shares are refundable upon ownership cancellation Shares are subject to dividends which may be declared based on the Credit Union's earnings, as decided by the Board Of Directors Chequing privileges, cards, pre-authorized and payments are not permitted on this account. SmartSave This is a daily interest savings account that you can use for your day to day transactions. Interest is calculated on a tiered level on your closing daily balance and is paid to the account at the end of each month. There are no cheque privileges. You will receive five free pre-authorized, over-the-counter or ICU withdrawals per month. Youth Account & Student Deposit Program This youth account is designed specifically for students in kindergarten through grade 12. The account consists of one SmartSave savings account with a preferred rate. There are no service charges for deposits or withdrawals on this account and a debit card is available. Each week, a staff member goes to Bloomfield & Evangeline Schools and every second week to Ellerslie School to pick up deposits made by students to their accounts. Prizes are awarded on occasion throughout the school year. 3

Chequing accounts Personal Chequing Account This account is suited to members who require the convenience of a chequing account but do not require all the services provided by a package plan. A minimum maintenance fee of $1.25 applies. No interest is paid on this account. See package plans for additional options and services available. Business Chequing Account A minimum maintenance fee of $2.25 applies. No interest is paid on this account. A printed monthly statement with cheque images is provided for pick-up in-branch at no cost. There is also no charge for a deposit, a cash order or our payroll service. US Chequing Account (Personal & Business) This account applies to members who deal with US currency on a regular basis. This type of account permits you to make US cash or cheque withdrawals from your account directly at the Credit Union, purchase US Traveller's cheques, US drafts and US wires without any conversion fees. You cannot attach a Debit Card or a Global Payment MasterCard to this account. This account cannot be accessed at an ATM or by Direct Payment. MemberDirect is available for inquiries only (to view transactions on the account). US coins are not accepted for deposits. There are no certified cheque privileges on this account. A minimum maintenance fee of $2.00 applies on a personal account and $5.00 on a business account. Daily Interest Chequing Applies to a personal or business account. A minimum monthly maintenance fee of $2.25 applies. This account pays interest on a tiered level. You receive 1 free cheque, pre-authorized, over-thecounter or ICU withdrawal per $1,000 minimum balance. Personalized Cheque Orders A variety of personal and business cheques are available to suit your individual personality. You can customize your order by adding your business logo. Package accounts Student Plan This account is designed for students attending their post secondary education on a full time basis. Proof of full time student status is required at time of enrollment. The plan will be in effect for the duration of their studies. The package applies to one chequing account only and includes: No fees for the first 25 transactions from : Debit Card Global Payment MasterCard Transactions in excess of 25 will be charged at regular service charge rates. Package accounts MasterPlan Basic Provides coverage for your basic chequing needs. Package accounts MasterPlan E-Chequing This plan is for members who mainly use their cards to do their daily banking. It applies to one personal chequing account only. This plan is $6.50 per month and covers the first 40 transactions per month from the following categories : Global Payment MasterCard transactions Debit Card transactions Pre-authorized payments Your e-chequing account also gives you for FREE : No annual fee Debit Card (one per person per renewal period) No annual fee Global Payment MasterCard (one per person per renewal period) Acculink and The Exchange ATM networks withdrawls Electronic Bill Payments at the ATM TeleService telephone banking service MemberDirect online banking service (excludes Interac e-transfer transactions) Free Mobile Text & Web Banking service (standard text messaging rates may apply depending on your provider and plan) NOTE: Transactions in excess of 40 will be charged at your standard service charge rate. Package accounts Prime Account A package of benefits to allow for better savings, increased flexibility and greater convenience for owners 59 and over. Card Services Debit Card Your debit card can be used at ATMs to access your accounts. You may also use it on the Interac direct payment system. You have the flexibility to choose your own 4 digit PIN number. Also, you may choose to add our Choice Rewards points program (see page 15) to your debit card if you already have it on one of our MasterCards. Get 10 points for each transaction of $20 or more. Global Payment MasterCard The GLOBAL PAYMENT MasterCard card offers you the convenience, flexibility and worldwide global acceptance of a traditional MasterCard credit card. GLOBAL PAYMENT MasterCard can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted including shopping online and accessing cash at an ATM. But, unlike the traditional MasterCard credit card, the funds are automatically moved from your credit union account to pay off the balance after the transaction is completed. GLOBAL PAYMENT MasterCard is a convenient extension of your account. Card Services Gold Global Payment MasterCard The Gold GLOBAL PAYMENT MasterCard card offers you the convenience, flexibility and worldwide global acceptance of a traditional Gold MasterCard credit card. Gold GLOBAL PAYMENT MasterCard can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted including shopping online and accessing cash at an ATM. But, unlike the traditional Gold MasterCard credit card, the funds are automatically moved from your credit union account to pay off the balance after the transaction is completed. Gold GLOBAL PAYMENT MasterCard is a convenient extension of your account and is only available through your credit union. MasterCard Cards A MasterCard card provides an excellent and convenient way to access revolving credit. Minimum monthly payment amount is 3% of your outstanding balance. Card Services Business MasterCard credit card The Business MasterCard is perfect for small businesses and corporate members who want financial convenience and control. Investments Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) A RRSP is an excellent investment option you can use to save for your retirement. All contributions to a RRSP are tax deductible (within your annual prescribed limits). The minimum deposit required to open a fixed RRSP is $500. Each year, producers can make a deposit into an AgriInvest account, and receive a matching contribution from federal and provincial governments. Investments Index-Linked Index-Linked term deposits are fixed term deposits that pay a return based on the performance of the stock market. No matter what happens to the stock market, you are guaranteed the return of your principal when your deposit matures. You have the security of knowing that your principal is protected. You also have the potential to earn a return in excess of a standard term deposit. There are no fees or commission and they are RRSP eligible. Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) A RESP is a government approved plan for the purpose of providing post-secondary education funding for a beneficiary.
