Development Training Program Federated s Development Training Program will help give you a strong foundation of insurance product knowledge and the tools needed to enjoy a successful, rewarding career. The program is an investment in you! You will earn a salary and benefits during your training. We bear the cost; you commit the time and dedication to learning. Through a combination of classroom and field experiences, you ll learn about underwriting, claims handling, rating, risk management, and marketing products. Working alongside longtime Federated employees, you will learn about the risks facing our clients and how claims are investigated, evaluated, negotiated, and resolved. You will also learn to prepare building value estimates, eliminate or reduce hazards, and conduct safety seminars. During the training period, you will have the opportunity to work directly with clients. You will answer questions, solve problems, and perform a variety of duties tied to Federated s value-added mission. Your training will not end when you transition into a field marketing position. You will continue to develop your knowledge and skills through an installation program that highlights techniques for better protecting clients, helping Federated grow profitably, and achieving personal income satisfaction. You will also be supported through ongoing training from your manager, who will provide on-the-job guidance and assistance. The Development Training Program includes a mix of classroom and field experiences.
