Pocket CowCard and Handheld Devices 7/20/12 Pocket CowCard (PCC) is the version of DairyCOMP305 that runs on handheld devices (PDAs). VAS has evaluated a number of these handheld devices for compatibility with PCC as well as suitability for our clients environmental operating conditions. As with any technology, VAS will be evaluating new hardware as it becomes available. This factsheet represents VAS s current offerings and suggested units (Dec, 2010). The devices are divided into three main categories: Category 1: Current VAS Role: Hardware plus PCC Software Sales and Support VAS currently sells two hardware solutions in addition to Pocket CowCard software sales and support. Category 2: Current VAS Role: PCC Software Sales and Support These units are being used by clients for PCC. VAS does not currently sell these units, but does offer PCC software sales and support for them.
