I confirm that neither I, nor any connected person within the meaning of Section 252 of the Companies Act 2006 or Section 96(B)(2) and schedule 11B of the Financial Services & Markets Act 2000, are currently residing or are permitted to reside in the property to be used as security for the loan at any time now or in the future. I understand that the definition of a Connected Person includes anyone who is a spouse, parent, siblings, child, grandparent or grandchild; or any other person whose relationship with me has the characteristics of the relationship between husband and wife. As a responsible lender Cornerstone Secured Lending will carefully assess the information you have provided in the Application Form in order to decide whether or not to make you an offer of a short-term bridging loan mortgage. Even if we do issue an Offer Letter to you, we have the right at any time before any loan completes to withdraw, revise or cancel our offer without providing a reason. Please note that it is a criminal office to knowingly or recklessly give false, inaccurate or misleading information when applying for a mortgage. If you give such information, you may be reported to the police and prosecuted. Assisting with Repayment of your Mortgage and the Insurance of Properties I/We acknowledge that takes its lending responsibly, seriously and understands it is a part of its Treating Customers Fairly Policy, prefers to be proactive and assist customers who need to repay their bridging loan Mortgage(s). I/We also appreciate that needs to ensure that the mortgaged property that I/we have provided as security for my/our loan must continue at all times to be fully insured and that Cornerstone Secured Lending Limited is always noted on the insurance policy and a copy of the insurance policy sent to prior to the loan draw down. I/We will give proof of the premium has been paid on the insurance policy and in the event my/our loan defaults and the insurance policy lapses I/We give permission for to pay the premium for the insurance policy to be on risk and will reimburse Cornerstone Secured Lending Limited. We understand and acknowledge that Cornerstone Secured Lending needs to be able to contact some or all of the following, in connection with any loan that we may have with, namely, our solicitor and accountant and (where applicable) the intermediary whom introduced our loan application to Cornerstone Secured Lending Limited, other intermediaries and lenders who might be able to assist us with refinancing our loan with and the insurance company(ies) that has insured the property(ies) that we have provided to Cornerstone Secured Lending Limited as security to our loan.
