1 2009-2010 & Challenge Throughout the 2009-10 academic year, EPA s Partnership tracked and recognized collegiate athletic conferences with the highest combined green power purchases in the nation. On April 19, 2010, EPA concluded the Challenge and recognized the largest single purchasers within each participating conference as 2009-10 EPA Challenge conference champions as well as a Champion Conference. The final rankings of the top conferences are listed below. To be listed, a conference must have at least one Partner and an aggregate green power purchase of at least 10 million kilowatt-hours across the conference. Later this year, EPA will kick off the 2010-2011 & Challenge, which will be open to all U.S. colleges, universities, and conferences. To join the Partnership, visit the Join Us page of this Web site. The results below are the final standings for the 2009-10 & Challenge.
