These health insurance plans are usually Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) or Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), and?even better news- purchasing a low cost health insurance plan through your employer usually means that your monthly premiums are deducted from your paycheck, much like taxes are. If you e lucky, you won even miss those premiums! Yet, not everyone is fortunate enough to work for an employer who offers affordable, low cost

抮 抯 抳 抣 抣 抳 health insurance. Actually, some people aren even able to work at all. Maybe they e lost their jobs or been laid off. Maybe they e become disabled, or just too old to work. Whatever the reason, there good news. Affordable, low cost health insurance is within reach?if, that is, you e willing to do a bit of stretching. Use your spouse health insurance plan. If you are married and your spouse as an affordable, low cost health insurance plan, he or she may be able to add you to it. Look into state-sponsored health insurance programs. These state-sponsored programs are ideal for the disabled and elderly; actually, most of them are designed just for those people. Check out a few short-term medical insurance plans. Short term medical insurance plans are designed for individuals who have suddenly found themselves laid off or out of work, but plan to join the workforce again once they can. Short term medical insurance plans are full of benefits, and are generally available anywhere from six to 12 months. Start looking at various individual health insurance plans. These are usually the most expensive of all health insurance plans; however, what you l pay in premiums will pale in comparison to what you l pay in hospital bills should you become ill or injured. This makes having an individual health insurance plan seem all the more affordable and low cost. Healthy Aging with Vitamins Healthy Aging with Vitamin and Supplements The aging progression in our bodies is an on going thing each day of our lives. Bringing the clock to a standstill is out of the questions so we need to take care of ourselves on a daily basis. It is a known fact that as we age we need a dietary supplements and vitamins to substitute the declining bodily chemicals and substances. Dietary supplements are sometimes needed because as we age our diets change and we eat less. Sometimes we eat more. As our skin and digestive system starts to change, so do our vitamin levels. In order to keep these levels up we may need to take a supplement to bring that level up where it belongs to keep us happy and healthy as we age. Not having the right vitamins can cause cancers and chronic diseases to develop. We all need to understand the vitamins that we need and how they will help keep us stay healthy and safe. In all, we have two different kinds of vitamins, which one is the fat-soluble [A, D, E, K] and the second one is the water-soluble [B, C, P]. The fat-soluble vitamins if taken too much of can turn into a poison toxic. Our bodies produce Vitamin D and K, and the vitamins A and E need to come from our food or a supplement to help prevent cardiac disease and some cancers. Therefore, it is very important that you have the right amount of A, C, and E. The water-soluble vitamins help the kidneys to rid of our excess waste on a daily basis so it is very important to get the right amount daily. You should consult with your physician to learn

which vitamins and supplements are best suited for you. TIP: CHIRO-KLEENZ is a healthy, natural herb tea that detoxifies and trims the system. It is designed for both men and women. NOTE: This tea will cleanse the body of poisons, yet you should note that the tea would cause cramping, and frequent bowel movement. As we get older, our diets change and we don eat like we should. In addition, the foods we buy sometimes don have all or enough vitamins in them. The farmers are putting fertilizer and chemicals to make their crop larger and better and with all these chemicals, it lowers the vitamins that you get from your diet. Not eating the right diet or not enough can cause your vitamin level to drop. Some things you need to know are that Vitamin D is produced from the sun and the older we get the less we are outside, so by taking vitamin D it can help the brittle bones in our body and make them stronger. You can find B-12 by eating the right lean red meats, chicken and drinking skim milk. Taking Vitamin B-12 and B-6 it helps to reduce heart disease. B-12 will help the red blood cells produce and maintain the nervous system as well too. Are you not taking vitamins because it is too hard to swallow them? Some of us as we get older have a hard time swallowing, stay healthy by buying liquid vitamins. If you are not sure what ones come in liquid form ask your doctor and he can help you decide what you need and tell you if they are in liquid form or not. Some pills can be cut up or crushed because they lose their strength, so stay healthy and look for the liquid type. One of the most important things about healthy aging is to have a well balance meal three times a day. Take your medications and vitamin everyday as your doctor has prescribed and enjoy life. Title: PCOS: A Risk on Female Sexual Health Word Count: 556 Summary: Polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS is a common condition in adolescent girls and young women. Deemed to be caused by hormonal imbalances, PCOS is a serious threat to female sexual health. This article provides information on PCOS including its definition, probable causes, symptoms, risks, and diagnosis and treatment. Keywords: female sexual health Article Body: Irregular periods are common occurrences for adolescent girls and young women. Some even

regard it as a convenience since they do not have to bear the discomfort caused by menstrual cramps, PMS, tampons, and sanitary pads. However, irregularity in a woman's cycle with no apparent cause is a serious threat that should be checked immediately since it can be a symptom of something worse. One such threat to female sexual health is a condition known as polycystic ovary syndrome. Polycystic Ovary Snydrome, Defined First diagnosed in the 1930's as Stein-Leventhal Syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS is a prevalent condition affecting adolescent girls and young women. No probable cause of PCOS have been identified although the condition is closely linked to hormonal imbalances in the female body. Loosely defined, PCOS is the existence of multiple cysts inside the ovary which prevents it from releasing mature eggs for ovulation. Thus, women and girls with PCOS experience irregular periods or at times, the complete lack of it. The PCOS Cycle 搈 Although the definite cause of PCOS is yet to be identified, hormonal imbalances in the female body are said to affect the condition directly. Both male and female bodies produce sex hormones in different amounts. In females, the ovaries produce three kinds of hormones namely, progesterone, estrogen, and androgen. These hormones regulate the female cycle from ovulation to menstruation. However, in women affected by PCOS, the ovaries produce higher amounts of androgens which are sometimes referred to as ale hormones.?this spike in androgen production is linked to an increase in insulin production. Research indicates that women with higher levels of insulin in their bodies tend to produce more androgens which causes the imbalance. The imbalance caused by the excess androgens interfere in the development of the egg cells and their release. Some eggs do not mature but instead develop into little sacs filled with liquid called cysts. Since no eggs are released during ovulation, these cysts enlarge and build up inside the ovaries, causing missed or irregular periods. Symptoms of PCOS Signs and symptoms of PCOS may vary from woman to woman so regular checkups with a gynecologist is a must for proper diagnosis. Below are some symptoms usually caused by PCOS: * irregular or missed periods * heavy periods that come more than once in a month * obesity * hirsutism?excess facial and body hair * alopecia?thinning hair on the head * thickened and dark skin on armpits, neck, and breasts * high blood pressure, high blood sugar level, or high levels of cholesterol * clogged pores and acne PCOS Diagnosis and Treatment

Diagnosis for PCOS usually comes in three stages in order to eliminate other probable conditions that may have caused the symptoms. First up is a discussion of medical history to determine whether there are past medical and health conditions that can be linked to PCOS. After this, a physical examination is conducted to check for symptoms like excess weight, darkened skin, and blood sugar and cholesterol levels. A gynecologic exam is done last to check for other probable infections which may have caused the symptoms. Although there is no specific cure yet for PCOS, it is treatable. Treatment is usually done using hormonal therapy in order to balance the level of hormones in the body. Seeking treatment is important since PCOS can lead to possible infertility and sexual problems.
