What is Abortion? Abortion is the termination of pregnancy by the induced removal of an embryo or fetus (that is incapable of survival outside the body of the women) which results in the death of the fetus. Bridge Academy 8

What are the moral issues? Abortion is an inalienable right. Abortion is not a violation of any right, because there is no such thing as the freedom to live (inside or outside) of another human being. Is abortion murder? Question: When does life start? 66% at conception. 7% at 3 months. 3% at 6 moths. 17% at birth. 7% don t t know. Some people believe abortion is murder, that a fetus is a child and that the abortion procedure constitutes termination of life. Three Solutions Solution 1 Provide information at schools and within the community about the risks of unprotected sex. Solution 2 Support counseling for all segments of the community so individuals can make informed choices.
