Firms and Individuals Providing Forestry Services in Iowa Woodland owners in Iowa may wish to hire private individuals or firms to provide specific types of services related to the establishment, culture, and harvesting of their tree resources. The list of individuals and firms contained in this publication was recently updated based on letters to vendors and to District Foresters of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Venders with a professional forester on staff are identified with an asterisk. No claim is made that this list is complete. No warranty as to quality of services provided by these individuals and firms should be implied. This compilation is made available only to offer a list of contacts for landowners who may wish to secure such services. This issue of F-361 also indicates where in the state the individual or firm is willing to provide these services. The last column in the tabled compilation is titled WORK AREA which indicates either that the vendor is willing to work anywhere in Iowa (State) or only in specific areas of the state (NE, SE, NW, SW, Central). Corrections, deletions, or additions should be sent to Forestry Extension, 339 Science II, Iowa State University, Ames, IA 50011-3221, phone 515-294-1168, or e-mail (randallj@iastate.edu).
