City of Campbell Mortgage Credit Certificate Program (MCC) Description: The Mortgage Credit Certificate Program (MCC) provides financial assistance in the form of a tax credit to first-time homebuyers for the purchase of single-family homes, townhomes and condominiums. A first-time homebuyer is defined as a person who has not owned a principal residence within the last three years in Santa Clara County. If interested, contact the Santa Clara County Housing Authority City of Mountain View Subsidized Rental Housing Description: There are ten housing complexes in the City of Mountain View that have been subsidized by the City or have received financial assistance from Federal subsidy programs in exchange for providing affordable housing. Some of these apartments also participate in the Section 8 rental subsidy program and accept tenants with Section 8 rental vouchers or certificates. Description: The City of Morgan Hill s Below Market Rate (BMR) Purchase program assists low to moderate income first-time homebuyers purchase their first home at below market rate prices. City of Morgan Hill Down Payment Assistance Program Description: The City of Morgan Hill s Down Payment Assistance Program (DAP) assists first-time homebuyers who meet the income qualifications to buy their first home within the City by offering payment assistance of up to $50,000 ($75,000 within downtown boundary).
