A word from the Principal. To my students. We extend the warm hand o fellowship as we welcome you to AEFBC of Western Australia. God has supplied all our needs with the provision of 13 acres of land and a new administration and lecture facility here in Forrestdale, a semi-rural setting with all the necessities to train our Indigenous and non-indigenous people in the truth of the inerrant, infallible perfect Word of God, the supreme and final authority in faith and life. God in His infinite wisdom has brought us all together from various walks of life, so we might edify one another towards the wider missionary vision, to go into all the world and preach and teach the Gospel of truth, life and eternity. The Great Commission, spoken about in the Gospel according to Matthew, (Matt 28:16-20) enforces the need for all Christians to know God s Word in it s truth and entirety and not only be hearers but doers also. (James 1:22) The world speaks about studying to the benefit of one s self, the Bible speaks to you and I as God s chosen vessels, that we are to, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth (2 Tim 2:15) Your training at AEFBC will last 2-3 years should the Lord tarry, and your studies will be finished in a flash, so let your time be put to good use while you are here. Do not waste time in worthless endeavours as we live in expectation of our Lord s soon return. What one does to benefit self will pass, but what one does for Christ will last. As a good soldier that goes out to battle is well prepared, so, as a soldier of the cross, we need to with all diligence and application endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the Masters use, and prepared unto every good work. (2 Tim 2:3,21). Each of us has a race set before us, we must do well in our training and accomplish the tasks that lie ahead of us with commitment, with love for each other and for the brethren, and most importantly with love and undeniable faith and trust in the one who has given us life and given it more abundantly, our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ. And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations: and then shall the end come (Matt 24:14). March onward and upward all ye soldiers of the cross. COLLEGE COUNCIL MEMBERS STATEMENT OF FAITH Chair Person : Mr Martin Smith Principal : Pastor Clive Hayden Councilmen: Pastor Greg Kelly Councilmen: Mr Jarrad Dimer Councilmen: Mr David Williams Councilmen: Mr Mark Bateman The statement of faith of the College shall be in accordance with the truth of the Word of God written in the Holy Bible, the authorized King James Version (KJV). We believe in the divine, Inspiration and Preservation of the Scriptures in the original languages, their consequent inerrancy (without error), and infallibility, and as the perfect Word of God, the supreme and final authority in faith and life (John 17:17, 2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21. Psalm 12:6-7. Matt 5:18, 24:35). We believe in the one true God, externally existing in three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit: these being the same in substance and equal in power and glory. (Gen 1:26, Isa 6:8, John 15:26, Mark 1:10-11, Matt 28:19, 2 Cor 13:14). We believe in the full Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the chosen vessel, the virgin Mary. In His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection and ascension, His presence at the right hand of the Father, His unchanging Priesthood and perfect humanity His future bodily return from glory. (Heb 1:3,8, Clo 2:9, Luke 1:31,35, 1 Peter 2:22, Mark 16:19, Heb5:6) In the personality and malignity of the devil and the universality and wickedness of sin. (1Peter 5:8, Eph 6:11,12, Rom 3:23, 7:11-13).In the fallen, sinful and lost estate of all mankind.(rom 3:23, 5:12, Gal 3:22). In the divine provision of full salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ both from the penalty and power of sin. All who are willing, receive it by repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (1John 1:9, Eph 2:8, John 5:24, 3:16, Rom 5:9).In the work of the Holy Spirit in the immediate regeneration of mankind, in their sanctification and in their eternal preservation. (John 3:5,7, 2 Thess 2:3, Rom 8:14-16, John 10:28). That the true Church is the company of all who have been born of the Holy Spirit and have formed into one body of which Christ is the head. (Col 1:18, Eph 122,23). We believe in the eternal consciousness of the soul the resurrection of the body, the everlasting divine fellowship and joy of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost. (2 Cor 5:1, Lk 16:22-24. 1 Cor 15:42-44, Jn 5:28,29, 2 Thess 1:7-10).We believe the Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek New Testament underlying the Authorized (KJV) to be the very Word of God, infallible and inerrant. We uphold the Authorized (KJV) to be the Word of God, the best, most faithful, most accurate translation of the Bible in the English language, and do employ it as our primary scriptural text in the public and private reading, preaching, and teaching of the English Bible. HISTORY The Aboriginal Evangelical Fellowship Bible College of Western Australia (AEFBC) commenced Bible teaching on the 2nd February 1985. The building in which studies began was a Brethren Chapel located in the suburb of East Victoria Park within the city of Perth, Western Australia. A College council was established to govern the day to day work of the AEFBC of W.A. through it s early stages of development. The AEFBC became an incorporated registered organization on the 15th January 1987. In the initial establishment of the College, students were admitted into the teaching program from country centers, for example the Goldfields, Kimberlies and the deep South of Western Australia. As knowledge of the college grew, more interest from students from the Eastern States was stimulated. Fee Structure Fulltime Students: 1st Year 2nd Year $2000 $2000 Per Term: 1. 2. 3. 4. $500 $500 $500 $500 ****************************************************************************************** Part-time Students: Some four years on (1989), the Brethren Chapel was placed on the market. The good Lord provided the AEFBC with the finance to be able to purchase the property for $55,000. It was a joyous occasion when the title deeds were handed over to the AEFBC. All praise and thanks is given to God for His providence. Thus the Bible teaching of the Aboriginal people of Australia was assured, and an established facility for the studying of God s precious Word was secured. Per Term: Yr-1 Yr-2 Yr-3 Yr-4 $1000 $1000 $1000 $1000 1. 2. 3. 4. The advantage of the college being established in the city of Perth, was access to available credible lecturers and teaching staff. As the college developed and progressed it became more apparent that accommodation for students was an issue. In the mid to late nineties, there was prayer and discussion about a place that would cater for students accommodation and the administration of the study course to take place in the one facility. Much prayer was raised up to God, He heard the prayers of the faithful and led the AEFBC to a property in Forrestdale which was owned by a Pastor and his family. God had His people in the right place at the right time, as His timing is always perfect. The AEFBC took a step of faith to purchase the 13 acre property in late 1998 for the sum of $550,000, with that step of faith God blessed the AEFBC and on the 23rd March 2001 the final payment was made to the owners, with this AEFBC received the title deeds and the deal was completed. God is good. $250.00 $250.00 $250.00 $250.00 The fee structure has been set by the College Council, however AEFBC understands that each student accepted into this course of study may not be able to meet all costs. The administration staff are available to discuss alternative arrangements with the student at their request, before the beginning of the College course. All applications for entry into AEFBC will be considered prayerfully but no guarantees of acceptance will be given. Applicants will be assessed on their completed application forms, the reference from their Pastor or church Leader, and their personal references and an interview conducted by phone/video link for applicants outside 250 kilometer radius of the Perth metropolitan area The AEFBC reserve the right to reject applicants on doctrinal standards, and, who are not born again Bible believing Christians 6 11

Thanks be to God and His provision this facility is currently 85% completed, God willing at the end of 2008 it will be ready for use. Much praise and thanks goes to our faithful and unerring God who has provided and continues to provide for the work and teaching of His Holy Word in it s truth and entirety at the AEFBC of W.A. This college is a faith college, and all staff, lecturers and students live by faith trusting in our almighty God to provide all our needs.
