Regional Health IT Extension Center (REC) Program (A Federal Subsidized Program) Purpose: To provide - Technical assistance - Guidance, and - Information on best practices on EHR implementation and meaningful use. 3

Michigan s RECs M-CEITA M-CEITA s Mission To accelerate the selection, adoption and meaningful use of health information technology to improve the quality and efficiency of care delivered in our state. M-CEITA s Vision To become a trusted resource on Health IT for physician community in Michigan. 4

What does Subsidized mean? 90% of M-CEITA s services are paid for by ONC 10% of M-CEITA s services are paid by providers ($500 is paid per provider at the time of signing the agreement). We get paid as we help you move toward and meet Meaningful Use.

Planning Your practice will receive assistance with organizational change management and preparation for EHR Optimization. Additionally, you will receive guidance on the EHR incentive registration process. 19

Our Services include: Group educational sessions: offered in a local area to provide best practices information, while simultaneously building a learning community of your peers. Consultation on site and over the phone on the following: Practice assessment, selecting a system appropriate to your practice setting and goals, apply best practices for implementation, understand your hardware and IT choices. If the provider finds themselves trouble- shooting a difficult issue, or needs help understanding the vendor's approach: we are a phone call away. We will make sure all needs and expectations are on track and have been met.
