Motor Legal Expenses Insurance In the event of being involved in an accident that is not the policyholders fault, there are certain losses that may be incurred which are not covered by their Insurance Policy; these are termed as Uninsured Losses. This policy provides 50,000 of legal costs per claim. The policy covers:- Legal Advice Legal Costs and Expenses Motoring Criminal Prosecution Defence Uninsured Loss Recovery, which could include:- Provision of a replacement vehicle to suit policyholder s needs Personal injury compensation Out of pocket expenses Policy excess Organising repairs to the vehicle Loss of earnings Loss of use of the vehicle Claims can only be pursued within the jurisdiction of the courts of Great Britain It is unlikely a reasonable settlement will be obtained or the amount in dispute is disproportionate to the time and legal costs involved in its pursuit Any legal costs or expenses incurred without prior written authorisation or incurred as a result of significant default or delay on the policyholders part Such legal costs and expenses for claims which arise from a criminal act or omission Applications for judicial review or in respect of the Human Rights Act or proceedings forming part of a group or multi-party action Prior to the issue of any proceedings the policyholder must use the representative or solicitor nominated and appointed by the insurer In no case will we pay more than 50,000 This policy is underwritten by Ageas Insurance Limited Telephone 0843 509 4900 Kindertons Motor ULR 0113 PG

Guaranteed Hire Vehicle Insurance The policy provides cover for a hire vehicle to be provided whilst the customer s is rendered un-driveable or being repaired following a road traffic accident or in the event of their vehicle being stolen, from when the customer notifies us of the claim. can be provided for Class A, Class E, Prestige, MPV, Minibus 12&15 seats, Small Panel Vans, Short and Long Wheel Base Panel Vans for a period of 14 or 28 days which must be chosen at inception of the policy. The following are not covered under this insurance:- Any claims occuring within 14 days of the commencement of this policy. Use of the hire vehicle outside the territorial limits of Great Britain. Any insured vehicle used in any way for hire or reward including courier work The incident that gives rise to a claim on this policy must have been reported to the client s own insurers and the client must actively be pursuing repairs or settlement of the claim Any excess that the hire company apply following an accident, fire or theft involving the hire vehicle All fuel, fares and fines relating to the hire vehicle whilst it is in the client s possession Any claim which has not been reported within 14 days of the incident, accident or theft occurring Any provision of a hire vehicle where a hire vehicle is already provided under another insurance or related product Any charges imposed by the Hire Vehicle Company for additional drivers, car upgrade etc. Any hire vehicle charges for more than 3 days after payment has been issued to the client in settlement of their claim The policy is limited to two claims in any one period of cover. Excess Protection Insurance This is a policy designed to cover the Excess a policy holder would be responsible for following the successful settlement of any physical damage claim for their vehicle by their motor vehicle insurer in respect of claims arising as a result of accidental damage, fire, theft or vandalism. is available to any driver holding a full and current UK driving licence or internationally recognised licence. The insured must be resident in the United Kingdom or a company based in the United Kingdom. Limit of age limits available are:- Single Vehicle Policy 350 in any one period of insurance 500 in any one period of insurance 750 in any one period of insurance 1,000 in any one period of insurance 1,500 in any one period of insurance Commercial Fleet Policy & Motor Trade Policy The level of cover provided is dependent on the fleet size (maximum 20 vehicles) 500 in any one period of insurance (up to 3 Motor Vehicles) 1,500 in any one period of insurance (up to 5 Motor Vehicles) 3,000 in any one period of insurance (up to 10 Motor Vehicles) 5,000 in any one period of insurance (up to 20 Motor Vehicles) Any claim that the main motor insurance policy does not respond to or the excess is not exceeded Any claim notified to the underwriter more than 31 days following the settlement of the claim by the main motor insurer Any claim that has been waived or reimbursed Any claim that is refused by the main motor insurer Any excess claim arising from glass repair or replacement Any claim where the motor vehicle is being used in any competition, trial, performance test, race or trial of speed, including off-road events, whether between motor vehicle(s) or otherwise, and irrespective of whether this takes place on any circuit or track, formed or otherwise, and regardless of any statutory authorisation of any such event The following exclusions and conditions apply only to the Commercial Fleet Policy & Motor Trade Policy Any claim where the motor vehicle is being used primarily as a taxi, courier or roadside recovery vehicle at the time of the incident High performance vehicles unless such vehicles represent only an incidental part of the Motor Fleet or Motor Trade Road Risks Insurance Policy. The maximum amount payable for any one claim under this policy will be the amount of the excess on the insured s Motor Fleet or Motor Trade Road Risks Insurance Policy or 1,000 whichever the lesser subject to the annual aggregate limit. Breakdown This policy provides three levels of cover for the insured vehicle: includes the following:- Comprehensive Roadside assistance (up to 1 hour s assistance & labour charges) Nationwide recovery Comprehensive + Home Start As above plus assistance at the policy holders registered home address Comprehensive + Home Start + European Comprehensive & Home Start cover plus European roadside assistance and recovery is provided for the following incidents up to a maximum of 6 call outs per year: Mechanical or electrical breakdown Accidental damage Vandalism, fire, theft or attempted theft Nationwide recovery /onward destination service Message service Loss of or breakage of keys Keys locked within a covered vehicle Flat battery Recovery of caravan or trailer attached to the insured vehicle at the time of the breakdown (up to 23 feet) The first 40 of any claim made within 72 hours of cover being purchased Claims caused by careless or deliberate acts Cost of replacement parts Running out of fuel (unless caused by a mechanical or electrical failure) Vehicles that have not been maintained correctly Vehicles in an un-roadworthy condition Winching or specialist recovery equipment charges Vehicles with a laden weight in excess of 3,500 kg (3.5 tonnes) Vehicles more than 5.18 metres (17 feet) long, 1.905 metres (6 feet 3 inches) wide and 2.44 metres (8 feet) high Vehicles originally manufactured with more than 7 seats This policy is underwritten by Enterprise Insurance Company PLC Telephone 0845 203 4700 (+4414 2353 5786 outside the UK) KIN/BRE9/V1/0811

Home Emergency Solutions This is a home emergency insurance providing cover as detailed below for emergency call out fees and repair costs. The policy covers:- The total failure or breakdown of the main heating system in your home Damage, blockage or breakage of the drains or plumbing system Damage to or failure of external doors, windows or locks Breakage to or mechanical failure of the home s sole toilet unit Failure of the domestic electricity or gas supply Loss of the only available keys to the home Vermin infestation Alternative overnight accommodation costs up to a maximum of 250 should the home be rendered uninhabitable Limit of The limit of cover under this policy is 500 per claim A central heating boiler which a) is more than 15 years old b) has not been subject to an annual service c) over 70 kilowatt Solar heating systems The interruption, failure or disconnection of the mains electricity, mains gas or mains water supply Garages, outbuildings, boundary walls, fences, hedges, cess pits, fuel tanks or septic tanks The property being left unoccupied for more than 30 days consecutively Goods or materials covered by a manufacturer, suppliers or installers warranty The failure of equipment or facilities which is as a result of them not being installed, maintained or serviced in accordance with statutory regulations or manufacturer s instructions, or which is caused by a design fault which makes them inadequate or unfit for use. A property that is not the policy holders main residence or that is rented or let Replacing or adjusting any decorative part of any equipment This policy is administered by Legal Insurance Management and is underwritten by Ageas Insurance Limited. Landlords Legal Expenses Insurance This policy provides a 50,000 limit of indemnity designed to cover the cost of professional fees charged by a claims handler, or solicitor following a specific occurrence as detailed below. Breach of Tenancy Agreement Pursuit of Rent Arrears Eviction Tax, VAT, PAYE & NIC Investigations Legal Defence Legal Advice & Assistance Optional Rent Guarantee * The jurisdiction and territorial limits of the policy is The United Kingdom Any claim made within 60 days of the first period of insurance An up to date satisfactory tenant reference must have been obtained prior to the granting of the tenancy Where it is considered unlikely a reasonable settlement of the claim will be obtained or the potential settlement amount of the claim is disproportionate compared with the time and expense incurred in pursuing or defending the claim Where it is considered unlikely that we will recover the sums due and or awarded Where it may cost more to handle a claim than the amount in dispute Claims where the Tenancy Agreement commenced more than 31 days after the date of the Tenant Reference. Any Insured Incident arising out of a tenancy agreement which does not fall within the definition of Tenancy Agreement. A dispute relating to service charges or any compensation payment to a tenant. The defence of dilapidation claims that fall within Small Claims limits. The Tenancy Agreement having been granted without first obtaining the requisite consent or licence. Commercial Legal Expenses The insurer will indemnify the policyholder against legal expenses incurred by the appointed consultant when undertaking work on the policyholder behalf in respect of an insured event covered by this Policy. The pursuit continued pursuit or defence of any claim if We consider it is unlikely a reasonable settlement will be obtained or where the likely settlement amount is disproportionate compared with the time and expense incurred. The defence of any offence of violence, or deliberate and wilful criminal acts or omissions. The first 10% of professional fees incurred in a contract dispute or debt recovery claim. Any personal injury claim involving medical or clinical negligence, or pharmaceutical or any related claims (including but not limited to tobacco products). Claims which do not arise in connection with or from the conduct of the Business. Damages, fines or other penalties You are ordered to pay by a Court, tribunals or arbitrator other than as insured under Insured Events Employment Awards. Legal Proceedings outside the United Kingdom and proceedings in constitutional international. or supranational courts or tribunals including the European Court of Justice and the Commission and Court of Human Rights. Any claim which has not been reported to us within 14 days of the incident or accident giving rise to the claim occurring. Any hire vehicle charges for more than 3 days after payment has been issued to the client in settlement of a claim under their motor insurance policy. Any guaranteed hire vehicle claim arising within 14 days of the commencement date of this policy.
