Meanwhile, DentBetty allows you to identify only the customers you are targeting: Profitable shoppers that won t waste your time when they come in Pre-Screened lead generation without any hassle or expense Measurable results and the reports you need to manage your business Premium rates as you build your online reputation, the more you win, you start to win more! Even better: DentBetty lets you respond to customer inquiries whenever you want. Make 10 bids while you have your morning coffee and then get back to your regular day, it s easy and convenient! With DentBetty on your team, you ll earn more money while giving your customers a more gratifying experience. We are always looking for ways to improve our service so please let us know how we can serve you and your customers bettyer. Thank you for joining the BettyNet revolution.

How to Begin Customers submit a repair request on the main website, DentBetty.com. They enter their type of car (make, model, year, VIN), what kind of repair they want (insurance job, out-of-pocket repair), and upload photos of the damage. We will notify you every time an estimate request comes in from someone who is within range of your shop. The Dashboard is your command center for: Viewing the most recent customer repair requests Keeping on top of requests that are about to end Getting reports and info about you and your customers Here s how you get there: Go to http://bettynet.dentbetty.com and follow the Login instructions in the upper right corner After logging in you ll see your Dashboard with new repair requests listed prominently Just click on any one to view it, or follow the Bids link in the heading to see all of the job requests that are waiting for you You can also see other reports and update your shop information too.

Getting Notified When a new repair request has just arrived, we ll send you an email notification that looks like this: To: jsmith@paradigmautobody.com From: Date: June 11, 2009 Subject: 2003 Lexus LS 430: You have a new repair request on DentBetty.com! [DJR-2FC1] BettyNet Support <bettynet@dentbetty.com> A local customer has a repair request for you! Paradigm Autobody, You ve just received a repair request on the DentBetty website! Note: The first time you go to BettyNet you ll have to enter your shop s email address, but thereafter we will remember you and clicking the link in future emails will take you right to your dashboard. Coming soon: Control how often you receive notifications, get mobile phone SMS updates and new ways to view and submit bids!

Making Your Pitch Writing estimates on DentBetty is easy! You already have a pretty good idea what is required for most of DentBetty s cosmetic inquiries such as a keyed car, so making 10 estimates while you listen to the radio is a snap. It only takes a couple minutes to answer a consumer s inquiry it s like picking up the phone except you don t have to talk about the weather. Photos come in. You look. Bang! Estimated. Done. Next. Consumers coming through this channel don t expect a detailed breakdown of parts and labor: all you need to provide is your best guess of the out-the-door bottom line. So just eyeball the damage and take your best shot. Don t bother writing anything down; DentBetty will track everything for you you ll have time for that when your customer comes in for his visual inspection. What if you aren t sure about a particular set of photos? The Caveat Controller allows you to indicate how certain you are about each particular estimate:

This customer generation system does not provide warranties or payment, so you don t need to worry about any more liability exposure than you have when someone calls you on the telephone. We have included explicit boilerplate language to communicate to consumers the inherent limitations of trying to make an estimate by photo alone. However, you can add as many custom disclaimers as you wish. You can specify a variety of other options, as well as give the consumer an idea of how long the repair will take and other comments you d like to make. Some information about your shop in your shop profile page such as the certifications you have received will be communicated to consumers in the DBQS section of your estimate response to them. The DentBetty Quality Scorecard for consumers features consumer survey information as well so you can be confident that your shop gets recognized for the excellent reputation it deserves.

Winning After you complete each estimate, the consumer is notified by email of your response. (The system has a seven-day bidding window, so you aren t actually required to respond right away, and the consumer may not make a final decision for up to a week after the request goes out.) Estimate responses are listed for the consumer in the order they are received. Consumers often prefer to accept an immediate response rather than waiting, so it pays to not wait too long. We ve learned that most consumers really don t care to sort through too many estimates, and meanwhile shops aren t particularly eager to make estimates if the likelihood that they ll win is ridiculously low because there are too many other competing shops that are estimating exactly the same job. That s why we recently introduced The DentBetty 7 In 7 for zip codes where there are seven or more participating shops that are within driving distance of the same consumer. In these situations, only the first seven shops to make an estimate request will get presented to the consumer. This way when you write an estimate you ll know that your work is truly meaningful to the consumer. Meanwhile, estimate requests that are already responded to by seven others before you get to it will get automatically be removed from your estimate queue altogether this way you won t waste valuable time looking at it. When you make an estimate, you can be certain that your estimate will be only one of a handful delivered to the consumer. The DentBetty 7 In 7 improves your win ratio. Our research shows that consumer behavior is not simply driven by price: Consumers are actually influenced by a complex combination of factors that include distance, availability, turn-around time, perceived quality/reputation, and additional services offered. With DentBetty, you can bid as aggressively as you wish depending on how busy your shop is and whether any particular car is a car you want. When your bid is selected, the customer will receive your contact information and both you and the consumer will receive an email confirming the intended

Internet handshake. Soon they will also be able to see your photos and any video promotion you d like to make this will give you an opportunity to show off how terrific your service is and give them the confidence to close the deal. The consumer will then schedule an appointment with you on the phone. Note: the email you receive features a unique tracking code, so you can be certain that the estimate you gave applied to that person s car alone at the time you made it. Also, you can control the expiration date of these estimates. Please give us feedback on how the whole process goes! We are eager to learn from your experience so we can improve this service. You will see our brief Feedback ticket for each completed handshake on your Dashboard and in the Bids You Won sections.

Some Rules of the Road A tremendous amount of work went into making this a useful consumer service that is profitable for you. However, because we are new, we know there will be occasional situations that aren t what anyone has contemplated. Thank you for doing what you can to help make this a success, and keeping us posted on your experiences. A few rules that we require all members of BettyNet to abide by are kept up to date at: http://bettynet.dentbetty.com/home/terms_of_use We ask that you read these rules and appreciate the spirit behind them to create a fair and enjoyable service for all BettyNet members and DentBetty users alike. Some of the important items that we ask of you are: Play fair. Please make your estimates in good faith, using your best guess of the out the door cost after taxes. Of course sometimes you ll get it wrong either the photos did not reveal hidden damage or the consumer requested something else. These we can resolve on a case-bycase basis. However to protect everyone we will oversee the community to make certain that any pattern of behavior in violation of these fundamental principles will result in the violating shop being excluded from future participation. Keep in the game. As a member of BettyNet, we ask that you reply to the estimates that come your way. Consumers will be waiting for your response let s not disappoint them! If you wish to go on vacation or take a temporary break from participating, please let us know by clicking on the Vacation Mode switch. Be nice. Remember, these are actual consumers trying to solve their problems. Please help us make sure this is a positive experience for everyone.

That s so Betty We re so excited to provide this terrific, convenient service that consumers will love. So many people have told us that the reason they don t get cosmetic repairs isn t the expense it s the hassle of driving around town for estimates. The entire industry will grow because of the convenience we are introducing, and your existing customers will have a better experience as well. This is progress to be proud of and it would not be possible without you! We look forward to swapping DentBetty stories and hope that you will be able to join us at some of our upcoming DentBetty parties. There will also be other benefits that will be extended to the earliest DentBetty believers, we are grateful that you have become one of our first participants. On behalf of all the Betties and Eddies out there, thank you for joining in on the DentBetty revolution.
