PORTFOLIO BUILDING Unlike many other mutual fund companies, Sun Life Global Investments has a low minimum investment requirement of $500 per fund. This means investors can build a portfolio with multiple funds to meet eligibility requirements for Private Client. SUN LIFE GRANITE MANAGED PORTFOLIOS Sun Life Granite Managed Portfolios help take the guess work out of investing. Investors can choose from a series of ready-made mutual fund portfolios based on their tolerance for risk, time horizon and investment objectives. SUN LIFE MANAGED INCOME AND MANAGED ENHANCED INCOME PORTFOLIOS The Sun Life Managed Income Portfolio and Sun Life Managed Enhanced Income Portfolio allow for exposure to a broad range of securities, including domestic and international government bonds, dividend-paying equities, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and high-yield corporate bonds. SUN LIFE MILESTONE FUNDS With Sun Life Milestone Funds, investors select a fund with a maturity date that best matches the year they expect to require the money, known as the target maturity date. As long as they remain invested in the fund until maturity, they will receive a guaranteed maturity value. As the target maturity date approaches, and at any time the guaranteed value at maturity increases, the fund is rebalanced to help preserve capital. DIVERSIFIED INCOME FUNDS Diversified income funds seek to generate income by investing across various asset classes, sectors and geographies. Like most income funds, they prioritize income generation over capital appreciation. EQUITY FUNDS Equity funds invest in shares of companies and offer the investor the potential for growth in their investment over time. Equity funds have a variety of management styles. ASSET ALLOCATION AND BALANCED FUNDS Asset allocation and balanced funds are a mix of equities, bonds and cash equivalents. FIXED INCOME FUNDS Fixed income funds invest in bonds and have the potential for growth while providing a source of income. VALUE Management fee reductions (MFRs) provide an incentive for clients to consolidate assets with you. MFRs increase on a tiered basis according to the amount of investible assets in the account. Assets in individual account < 100K > 100K - 250K >250K - 500K > 500K - 1M > 1M - 3M > 3M - 5M > 5M Tiered management fee reductions 0 bps 5 bps 10 bps 20 bps 30 bps 35 bps 40 bps ELIGIBILITY An investor qualifies for automatic MFRs when their account exceeds the minimum balance of $100,000. MFRs may also apply to qualifying linked accounts.* PURCHASE MINIMUMS A $500 minimum applies to subsequent purchases for an existing Private Client account, as well as pre-authorized chequing (PAC) and dollar cost averaging (DCA). * If the minimum book value or market value is not maintained and the account is not linked to a household group, Sun Life Global Investments reserves the right to have the investor s securities re-designated as series A of the same fund. 12
HOUSEHOLD EFFECTIVENESS Householding allows clients to combine multiple Sun Life Global Investments account balances to take advantage of greater MFRs and potentially have access to enhanced services. The linking of Private Client accounts can also give you the ability to help families plan and coordinate investment decisions toward common, long-term goals. ELIGIBILITY Eligible Sun Life Global Investments Private Client accounts include: 1) those held by an investor, his or her spouse, children and/or parents, all residing at the same address; or 2) A corporate account (i.e. corporation, partnership, trust) where one or more of the members within the Private Client Household Group have a combined ownership of at least 50% voting equity. Documentation showing proof of voting equity must be provided. (i.e. corporate resolution, articles of incorporation, partnership agreement, trust documentation). INVESTMENT REQUIREMENTS Only series E or O units are available for householding. MANAGEMENT FEE REDUCTIONS When the Account Linking Agreement is received in good order, the MFR will be based on the total assets of all accounts in the household group. Any added or deleted accounts may affect the pricing tier and related management fee reduction. ACCOUNT BALANCE REQUIREMENTS A household balance is calculated by linking the assets of all eligible Private Client accounts. A master account must be selected and have a minimum $100,000 balance. The total combined balance of the master account and linked account(s) must be at least $250,000 to qualify. 13
TAX EFFICIENCY Corporate class funds allow for tax-deferred switching between classes of the same mutual fund corporation held in a non-registered portfolio. Distributions may be lower because expenses can be shared between classes. These distributions may be taxed at a lower rate. CONSISTENCY Private Client accountholders have the ability to opt-in to a portfolio rebalancing service. Clients set the variance for rebalancing (between 2.5% -10%, in increments of.5%) and can choose from the following rebalancing schedule options: Monthly Quarterly (March, June, September and December) Semi-annually (June and December) All assets in the account will be switched* into the funds listed on the Rebalancing Service Form. If one or more fund holdings vary from the target allocation by more than the selected variance, Sun Life Global Investments will automatically switch the investments back to the initial target allocation. *All switches, including rebalancing transactions are subject to the switch rules explained in the applicable simplified prospectus for each fund. 14

This group of knowledgeable professionals can help you attract, maintain and service high net worth investors. EDUCATION AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING The Private Client team is well-versed in the competitive landscape and can provide insights and information for you to present to clients either on your own, or with their support. The Private Client team can also give an in-depth analysis of clients Sun Life Global Investments mutual fund holdings to help reinforce the value of your role as an advisor. ELIGIBILITY All Sun Life Global Investments Private Client accounts with a minimum balance of $500,000. The Private Client team is also available to discuss opportunities for clients who are considering investing with Sun Life Global Investments. 16
FLEXIBLE COMPENSATION SERIES E FUNDS The management fee, operating expenses and dealer service fee (trailing commission) is embedded in the daily NAV of the fund. Management fee rebates are distributed to investors via the purchase of additional units/shares. SERIES O FUNDS The management fee and dealer service fee is charged externally through redemption of units/shares, and is assessed at the account level. Operating expenses and trading costs are embedded in the calculation of each fund s net asset value. The Series O dealer service fee is a negotiated fee between you and the client and can range from 0% to 1.25%. A Dealer Service Fee Agreement for Series O Units/Shares must be completed. Both Series E and O funds are available with an initial sales charge (ISC) option. The range is 0% to 5%. Deferred service charge (DSC) and low load (LL) options are not available. 17

In such a case, the applicable Sun Life Milestone Fund will pay the greater of the net asset value per unit on the accelerated maturity date and the net present value per unit of the Guaranteed Value. If you redeem your securities of the Sun Life Milestone Funds prior to their respective maturity dates, your redemption will be processed at the current net asset value per security, less any applicable redemption fees, and you will not benefit from the Guaranteed Value at maturity.
