Upon receiving your paid registration forms we will send a confirmation letter with directions to the facility and a map of the facility detailing the loading/unloading zone and parking areas. A company sign is included and electricity is available. There is an extra charge for electricity and you must supply our own extension cords and power strips. 27th Annual Section Conference & School Business Expo Exhibitor Show Details Setup You may begin set-up as early as 6:00 AM on the day of the event. In any case, YOU MUST BE SET UP BY 7:00 AM on Friday, February 26th! Show Time & Place 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, Friday, February 26th, at the Town & Country Resort, Mission Valley, San Diego, CA You Will Provide Payment All necessary display equipment, power strips and extension cords. Setup, breakdown and moving of your own equipment. A minimum of one vendor representative must be present at the booth throughout the entire show. See the vendor registration form for complete information and show fees. Payment of all fees must be made at time of application. CANCELLATION: In the event the Conference is canceled for reason beyond control of management, money advanced by exhibitor will be refunded in full. In such cases, management shall be free from any claim for damages which exhibitor alleges to have suffered as a result of such cancellation. Any registered exhibitor who wishes to withdraw from the conference and forfeit their reserved space and receive a refund of money advanced by the exhibitor, must do so before the registration deadline of February 1, 2015. Registration fees will not be NONREFUNDABLE after February 1, 2015. SELL OUTS: It is possible that the number of requests for exhibit space will exceed available space. There are fewer spaces than there are Associate Members. Time is of the essence. Even if you meet the February 1, 2015 deadline, persons who have submitted contracts before you will have priority and may have taken up all available space. If space runs out and you have submitted a check, you can be put on a waiting list or your monies will be returned. You will be called for your decision. STAFFING: Each booth must be attended and supervised at all times during the event. TRAFFIC BUILDERS: To encourage attendees to visit all exhibits, CASBO will organize a contest and provide incentive. DAMAGE OR LOSS: CASBO officials assume no responsibility for damage or for loss of any kind. Reasonable precautions must be taken to safeguard exhibitor s property. FIRE PREVENTION: All booth and display decorations must be flame-proofed, and all hangings must clear the floor. Electrical wiring must conform to National Electrical Code Safety Rules. INDEMNIFICATION: Exhibitor shall be liable to owners of the conference facility for all damage caused by exhibitor, and shall hold harmless and indemnify management for any damage charged to management by owners. DEFINITIONS: As used herein, the following definitions apply: 1) exhibitor means that person, company, organization or other entity that contracts to use one or more exhibit booths or spaces; 2) management means CASBO; 3) owner means that person, company, municipality or other entity, or any combination thereof, that bears the ultimate legal responsibility by virtue of leasehold or otherwise for operation of the conference hall, whether or not the same is legal owner thereof. SALES: Any exhibitor that will be selling merchandise out of his/her booth either on a cash and carry basis or in order form must comply with local ordinances and state laws. The exhibitor must have an application and deposit on file with the Board of Equalization. The deposit is to cover any California sales tax accrued during the show. Exhibitors may contact a local branch of the state Board of Equalization for more information. AESTHETICS: Management reserves the right to prohibit and/or evict exhibitors whose presentation is in any manner deemed by management as offensive to conference attendees, by reason of bad taste, questionable morals or controversial content.
