Multi Agency Teams These teams bring together staff from different professional backgrounds, such as education support, children's centres, health and social care under a single manager who oversees support for children, young people and families within the local community. Each multi-agency team also has a youth worker who can help with issues affecting young people aged 13-19 Years. You can contact us on telephone number: 01629 533650 Youth Activities for young people There s a wide range of things to do and places to go for young people aged 13 to19 years out of school hours. This includes youth clubs and projects which have been planned and organised by young people with youth workers. These could include arts, sports, trips out, music and of course a space to chill out with friends. There are also mobile units that take services out to teenagers who live in more rural settings, for more information see street-based youth work at http://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/education/out_of_school/youth_service/default.asp The adventurous activities team provides opportunities to try out new things like skate and ride, climbing, canoeing, camping and many more outdoor adventures and the creative arts team offers film making, photography, graffiti and mural projects, dance, young bands, DJ'ing and youth theatre.
