II. Certification Eligibility/Application Requirements NATIONAL CERTIFIED ADDICTION COUNSELOR LEVEL ONE Eligibility/Application Requirements Currently hold LAC license. Submission of a signed and dated statement that the candidate has read and subscribes to the NAADAC Code of Ethics. Evidence of 6 contact hours of ethics training and 6 contact hours of HIV/AIDS specific training that occurred during the last 6 years. Completed application with all required supporting documentation. Payment of non-refundable application/certification fee. NATIONAL CERTIFIED ADDICTION COUNSELOR LEVEL TWO Eligibility/Application Requirements Currently hold LAC license. Bachelor s Degree or higher in Behavioral Health. Applicant must submit a copy of official transcript. Evidence of 6 contact hours of ethics training and 6 contact hours of HIV/AIDS specific training that occurred during the last 6 years. Submission of a signed and dated statement that the candidate has read and subscribes to the NAADAC Code of Ethics. Completed application with all required supporting documentation.
