The WinCC / PerformanceMonitor facilitates the flexible calculation and powerful analysis of plant-specific key performance indicators (KPIs), on the basis of which improvements can be made for a targeted increase in productivity. The PerformanceMonitor addresses all user groups, from engineers to maintenance to the management level. The application environment integrated in WinCC enables the engineer to develop individual formulas for the calculation of KPI s. No additional know-how is required in this context. In the maintenance department, the KPI s can be analysis using bar graph (performance), trend chart (Gantt) and tabular format. On the management level, web-based reporting is used without needing WinCC on standard computers. The additionally acquired information is embedded in the WinCC Screen on the machine itself. The relationship of key performance indicators with plant data facilitates the understanding of more accurate production control e.g. availability and usage of the equipment.
