DIGITAL DYE-SUBLIMATION PRINTING Banners Costumes Airport Ads Custom Flags Feather Banners Media Backdrops WHAT IS IT? SHORT ANSWER: Fabric printing. TECHNICAL ANSWER: Images are digitally printed on coated paper as a reverse image of the final design, which is then transferred onto polyester fabrics in a heat press. Under high temperature and pressure, the dye turns into a gas and permeates the fabric and then solidifies into its fibers. The fabric is permanently dyed so it can be washed without damaging the quality of image. The heat transfer process offers better ink absorption and saturation, making your images look better and feel better to the touch. And aqueous based inks are more Eco-friendly than solvent inks.

Digital Ultraviolet (UV) printing is the process of using UV inks instead of traditional inks. Traditional inks are solvent based and dry by allowing chemicals to evaporate over time. UV inks are dried (cured) with UV light. Our UV printers can print on both rolled and rigid (sheet and board) materials, giving us the utmost versatility in materials. Digital solvent printing is the process of ink jet style printing using solvent based inks. The chief advantage of solvent inks is that they are cost effective and enable printing on flexible, uncoated vinyl substrates, which are used to produce vehicle graphics, billboards, banners and adhesive decals. Unlike most aqueous inks, prints made using solvent-based inks are generally waterproof and ultraviolet-resistant (for outdoor use) without lamination, but laminates can be applied for graphics with long term outdoor use expectations (like vehicle wraps).
