Access and Admission The access is defined in the new regulation for all students: Degree + Master Admissions are determined by the doctoral programme. A competitive process is used.
Enrolment Training complements could be required to some students Tutor assignment: teacher programme Supervisor assignment: accredited research Tutor, supervisor and PhD student must sign a Collaboration Agreement for Doctoral Student Supervision
Doctoral training The tutor assigns the training activities to the doctoral candidate These activities must be evaluated Training activities: Course of search and management of scientific information Course on intellectual property and patentability Course research methodology Workshop writing / processing / preparation of a scientific paper Preparation of a research paper for a scientific journal Communication presented in a national or international conference
Research Plan The doctoral candidate must make a public defense of his research plan. Pass this defense is required to renewal the enrolment.

Defense of Doctoral Thesis It is necessary to verify a quality criterion before the thesis presentation (usually an accepted or published JCR paper). The thesis defense is public. The evaluation committee is composed by five members. Three of these members should not belong to the University of Granada.
