The Berkeley STARTALK Teacher program has entered its eighth year since 2008. In addition to professional development in teaching, the program has offered leadership development opportunities for program graduates. All of our mentor teachers have been invited to serve as members of our instructional team after completing our program with exceptional performance. Many of them were inspired by this program and decided to pursue their teaching credentials after completing the Berkeley STARTALK Program.
