FAQs for Abecha - Esso Corporate Fleet Card Programme 1. Who is Abecha Pte Ltd? Abecha Pte Ltd (Abecha), a wholly owned subsidiary of SESAMi Pte Ltd, is a premier sourcing and procurement service provider. Being one of the leading Sourcing & Procurement Hub in Asia, Abecha offers a range of services in collaboration with the Singapore Government to help local SMEs to reach out to Global markets. Abecha is the authorized major reseller of ExxonMobil Fleet Card Program (Program) and ExxonMobil has referred Citibank to work with Abecha Pte Ltd on the Program. Through this partnership, Citibank has negotiated a preferential rate for Citibank s Commercial cardholders. 2. How do I apply for this new scheme? Simply visit http://www.sesami.net/abecha/esso/citi/corporate/ to complete the Program registration form. 3. Who can participate in the Program? You must be a cardholder of Citibank Commercial Cards to participate in the Program. 4. Why do I need to pay a $100 refundable security deposit? We ask customers to secure their accounts to ensure that we will have the resources available to continue providing reliable service to all customers. Unlike most other businesses, we provide credit limit upfront and bill after customers have used our services. This billing and deposit practices promote fairness by ensuring that all customers pay for the fuel they use so that all our customers can continuously enjoy the preferential discount. 5. How do I get back my refundable $100 security deposit? The $100 deposit will be refunded to you after you have paid all your bills and the account is closed. 6. Can the deposit of S$100 be used to offset outstanding payments? No, it is a security deposit and is not meant to offset any outstanding payments. 7. When will the security deposit deduction take place? The security deposit deduction will take place 4 weeks after receiving your application. 8. 9. Can I apply for the supplementary card? Yes. We will send you a set of Fleet card and Speedpass for every vehicle you register. If you wish to tag these additional vehicles to your paying account, you just need to fill in multiple vehicle number. If you want the additional vehicles to be under a separate account, all you need to do is to fill in the registration form accordingly for each separate paying account. 10. How long will the processing of my application take? Your application will be processed and if your application is successful, a Fleet Card will be sent within 4 weeks. 11. How do I use the Fleet Card and Speedpass? You can use the Fleet Card at the petrol pump or cashier counter by swiping the card and entering your pin number. Speedpass can be used at the petrol pump itself, just tap, pump and then the transaction will go through. The Speedpass has no pin number. 12. Can the Fleet Card be used for other purchases? No. The Fleet Card can only be used for fuel purchases. 13. Can the pin of the Fleet Card be changed? Yes. It can be changed at the petrol kiosk. 14. If I tap the Speedpass twice, will I be charged twice? No! This is how the Speedpass works: You tap the pass, select the fuel you wish to pump, pump and then the transaction will take place. Otherwise, it won't. 15. Is there a limit to the number of transactions per day? Yes. 2 transactions can be made per day on the Speedpass and Fleet Card i.e. with a Speedpass and a Fleet card, you can make up to 4 transactions a day. This is actually part of ExxonMobil's security features to minimize the loss incurred due to stolen or lost cards. 16. Any credit limit? The credit limit is set at a default amount of S$800 per month. 17. Is there minimum spending required per month and any penalty charges for non usage? No, there is not minimum spend. 18. Any expiry date for the Fleet Card? A Fleet Card has a 3-year validity period and all active transacting cards will be renewed automatically. You will receive the renewal card within one month of your Fleet Card expiry date. Your Fleet Card &/or Speedpass will be deactivated if there are no transactions for 12 consecutive months. 19. Will I earn "Smiles" points with purchases under this new scheme? No, the Abecha-Esso Corporate Fleet Card Program provides upfront discount. 20. What do I do if I have a change of vehicle or mailing address? You would have to call Abecha s hotline at 6407 4818 to inform of any changes. Alternatively, you can email to Custcare_bc@abecha.com. An acknowledgment email will be sent once your details have been updated. 21. What do I do if I lose my Fleet Card &/or Speedpass? You would have to call Abecha s hotline at 6407 4818 to deactivate the Fleet Card &/or Speedpass immediately. Alternatively, you can email to Custcare_bc@abecha.com and the Fleet Card &/or Speedpass would be deactivated within 1 business day. 22. What do I do if I lose/forget my pin number for the Fleet Card? You would have to call Abecha s hotline at 6407 4818 to request for a new pin number. Alternatively, you can email to Custcare_bc@abecha.com. The new pin number would be mailed to you at your mailing address within one week. 23. Are there any charges for lost or damaged Fleet Card &/or Speedpass? No charges. 24. How long do I have to wait for the replacement Fleet Card &/or Speedpass? A replacement Fleet Card &/or Speedpass will be sent to you at your mailing address within 3 weeks of your request for such replacement. 25. Will the discount rate be amended? Yes. Citibank and/or Abecha reserves the rights to amend/delete/add to any of these terms & conditions, from time to time without notice including amending the discount rates. 26. When will the charges be charged to my Citibank Credit Card? The charges will be charged to your Citibank Credit Card approximately on the 6 th, 13 th, 20 th and 27 th of every month. Payment is only due as per the Citibank Credit Card credit terms. 27. Where can I check the details of my petrol transactions? 28. You will receive a tax invoice from Abecha at your registered email address approximately on the 1 st, 8 th, 15 th and 22 nd of every month. The invoice will show the itemized transactions. 29. Why am I given only 5% discount at the pump station when I used my Fleet Card? The applicable discount will be applied to the total amount at the pump station and only be reflected on your Citibank Credit card statement. The 5% discount on at the pump station is valid for non-fleet Card users only. An example is shown below: Receipt at pump station: Item Name Qty Price Total SYN 8000 41.38 $2.190 $90.62 If applicable discount is 16%, the discount will be applied to the total sum of $90.62 when you received your credit card bill at your next billing cycle and $76.12 will be charged to your Citibank Commercial Credit card. Please refer to Appendix 2 on how to reconcile the transactions and the invoice. 30. Can I make payment with any Citibank Credit Card? No. Please ensure that the Citibank Commercial Credit Card that you are using is issued by Citibank Singapore Ltd only. 31. How can I change my payment details for my Citibank Credit Card? Please send an email with your name, fleet card number and the details of the changes to Custcare_bc@abecha.com. An acknowledgment email will be sent once your details have been updated. 32. How do I access my account online? You will receive your user ID and password to access your online separately. 33. Who should I contact if I have more enquiries?
