Course Description 500101 Arabic Language 1 (-0) This course contains a set of linguistic skills in different levels such as the sounds of the Arabic language, its morphology, syntax, rhetoric, lexicography and writing. It includes as well as on applications on the use of Arabic dictionaries and applications on some writing skills indispensable for scholars in their working lives. It also contains a refined set of Quranic, poetry and short stories of Arabic texts to give the learners the opportunity to be in contact with and to appreciate these texts. Pre-req. Arabic 99 or passing Arabic Level Exam 500102 Arabic Language 2 (-0) This course aims to develop student's skills in writing and expression and to provide him with the necessary and basic ones in order to employ them in his daily use, and enable him to stand on the origins of various Arabic scripts, and access to various forms of technical and functional old and new writing. Further, this course aims at informing the student with characteristics of the talent and giftedness and the identification tools. This course examines issues like counseling the gifted child and their problems and needs. This course includes identifying the basic element of the different supplementary services. Also, it shows the medical objectives that are needed to be achieved through aids. Pre.req Social Work to Family and Child (-0) The concept of philosophy process methods principles and the field of social, it also discusses the role of communication in social work. Methods of Teaching Arabic (-0) The main branches of Arabic Language within its definition and its relation with each other and presenting the teaching strategies and the methods of each branch. This includes presenting complete models for some lessons to face some problems related to teaching Arabic through diagnosis, analyzing reasons and training on the ways of facing those problems such as listening, reading, oral expressions, written expressions and dictation.
