Cleaning Contractors Policy Summary of Cover This leaflet provides a summary of the significant features, benefits and limitations of the cover provided by your Cleaning Contractors policy. For full details of the cover including complete terms, conditions and exclusions please refer to the policy document. The Cleaning Contractors policy is designed to cover businesses in the cleaning services industries. Insurer This policy is underwritten by CNA Insurance Company Limited. Territorial Limits The policy covers work undertaken by you on a worldwide basis other than the United States of America or Canada or any territory in their jurisdiction or Afghanistan, Angola, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Nigeria, North Korea, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, Zimbabwe. Cover in respect of Contract Works is restricted to contracts undertaken within the United Kingdom. Type of insurance and cover Provides cover for Employers Liability, Public and Products liability, including inefficacy risks. Cover can also be provided for: Contract Works; Professional Indemnity; All Risks of Loss or Damage to Property; Business Interruption; Directors and Officers Liability; and. This is an annual renewable policy. See schedule for sections covered. Employers Liability This section protects companies against damages and legal costs that arise as a result of claims from employees suffering an injury or disease due to, and during, their employment. Public & Products Liability (including inefficacy cover) Cover is provided in respect of legal liability to pay compensation including legal costs for:- - accidental death or personal injury to any person excluding employees - accidental loss or damage to third party material property. Contract Works Cover is provided in respect of Damage to property as follows:- - Temporary or permanent works completed or to be completed as part of a contract, including materials for incorporation. - Additional covers available are as follows (see policy schedule, if operative) - Insured s own tools and plant, plant hired in, employees tools and personal effects. Professional Indemnity Cover is provided, with a limit of 100,000 including costs and in the aggregate during the Policy Period, in respect of legal liability to pay compensation including legal costs arising out of specified professional activities for:- - accidental death or personal injury to any person excluding employees - accidental loss or damage to third party material property Cover is on a claims made basis meaning that any claim must be made against the Insured and notified to the Insurer during the Policy Period. All Risks of Loss or Damage to Property Cover is provided on an All Risks basis (excluding subsidence) in respect of loss of or Damage to Property Insured as specified in the Schedule. The Basis of Claims Settlement is Indemnity, Reinstatement or Day One Reinstatement, as agreed. Business Interruption Cover is provided on an All Risks basis (excluding subsidence) in respect of loss of Gross Profit due to a reduction in turnover and / or Increased Cost of Working and / or Rent Receivable, as specified in the Schedule for up to a 12 month indemnity period This section can be taken in order to extend cover under the All Risks of Loss or Damage to Property, Business Interruption and 1

Contract Works Section to include. Directors and Officers Liability Directors and Officers Liability is not available to Sole Traders, Partnerships or Companies listed on any stock exchange. Cover is provided in respect of legal liability to pay compensation including legal costs awarded against directors and officers of the Insured or the Company where it can indemnify the directors and officers for claims made against them in their capacity as such up to 25,000 including costs and in the aggregate during the Policy Period. Cover is on a claims made basis meaning that any claim must be made against the Insured and notified to the Insurer during the Policy Period. Significant features or benefits Employers Liability Standard cover provides protection for legal liability world-wide for United Kingdom based employees (including temporary visits abroad up to 12 months) for damages and legal costs of up to 10 million (Restricted to 5million in respect of terrorism) (See Policy Schedule) Cross liabilities Compensation for court attendance. ( 500 per Employee per day. 750 per Director/ Partner or Principal per day) Employees Business Liability Indemnity to principal and contractual liability Injuries to Partners Prosecution Defence Costs (Corporate Manslaughter) 1 million sub-limit Prosecution Defence Costs (Other) Unsatisfied court judgments. Public & Products Liability Cover applies world-wide (excluding manual work in or exports to USA/ Canada or any work in or exports to Afghanistan, Angola, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Nigeria, North Korea, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, Zimbabwe) Indemnity limit of up to 5 million is available (See Policy Schedule) Indemnity to principal and contractual liability Cross Liabilities Prosecution Defence Costs (Corporate Manslaughter) 1 million sub-limit Prosecution Defence Costs (Other) Compensation for court attendance. ( 500 per Employee per day. 750 per Director/ Partner or Principal per day) Damage to third party plant being used by the Insured Defective Premises Act Liability Contingent Liability (Non-Owned Vehicles) Criminal Acts of Employees Failure to Secure Customers Premises Fidelity Bonding - 10,000 any Employee or Occurrence; 100,000 aggregate limit (option to increase to 100,000 any Employee / Occurrence / Aggregate) Financial Loss (claims during the policy period) 50,000 aggregate limit (option to increase to 250,000) Incorrect destruction of Third Party Property Leased or Rented Premises Libel, Slander or Mis-statement (claims during the policy period) Loss of Keys - 25,000 aggregate limit (option to increase to 75,000) Misuse of Customers Phones - 5,000 any Employee / Occurrence (option to increase to 50,000) Obstruction and Physical Loss of Amenities Overseas Personal Liability Pollution which is sudden, identifiable and unintended; including liability to pay clean up costs in respect of land that is not owned, leased or rented by the Insured Liability for Buildings Temporarily Occupied Car Park & Cloakroom Liability Temporary Removal of Customers Property for Cleaning up to 10,000 in respect of any one customer / Occurrence and 100,000 in the aggregate during the Policy Period (option to increase to 50,000 any one customer / Occurrence) Treatment Risk Wrongful Arrest Optional Extensions: Exports to the United States of America or Canada or any territory in their jurisdiction to full Public and Products Liability Indemnity Limit Fidelity Bonding ( 100,000 any Employee, Occurrence and in the aggregate during the Policy Period) Financial Loss ( 250,000 in the aggregate during the Policy Period) Loss of Keys ( 75,000 in the aggregate during the Policy Period) Misuse of Customers Phones ( 50,000 any Employee or Occurrence) Temporary Removal of Customers Property for Cleaning ( 50,000 any one customer/ Occurrence and 100,000 in the aggregate during the Policy Period) Contract Works Additional Interests Architects, Surveyors and Other Fees in Reinstatement Compensation Payment in the event of Total Loss 500 Consecutive Damage Excess applies once relating to certain perils where Damage occurs over a period of 72 hours Continuing Hire Charges up to 100,000 / 90 days after the first 2 days Debris Removal Employees Personal Effects and Tools Away from the Contract Site Escalation of Contract Price up to 25% Free Issue Materials Immobilised Plant 2

Manslaughter Defence Costs and Expenses Liability to shareholders in respect of loss of value of shares due to Pollution up to 25,000 provided that a Claim is brought in the European Union Insurable punitive, multiple and exemplary damages (awarded outside of the United Sates of America or Canada or any territory in their jurisdiction Emotional distress arising out of discrimination, harassment, defamation relating to job skills, abilities or qualifications, unfair or wrongful dismissal or refusal to hire, adverse change in employment terms and conditions. Significant or unusual exclusions or limitations Employers Liability Bodily Injury for which motor insurance is required to be arranged Liability arising offshore including conveyance onto or from any offshore installation Liability arising from work at height above 16 metres unless specifically agreed Liability arising from the collection, delivery or disposal of clinical waste, including but not limited to sharps and needles Liability for payment under any Workman s Compensation Scheme Internal Bodily Injury arising from exposure to asbestos or polychlorinatedbyphenyls ( 5,000,000 Limit). Public & Products Liability Liability arising from work at height above 16 metres unless specifically agreed Liability arising from the collection, delivery or disposal of clinical waste, including but not limited to sharps and needles Liability arising offshore including conveyance onto or from any offshore installation Liability arising at airport or aerodrome runways, manoeuvring areas or aprons, control towers or those parts of airports or aerodromes to which aircraft have access, including but not limited to hangars Liability arising from work on or in nuclear installations or establishments; refineries, bulk storage or production premises in the oil gas or chemical industries; railway tracks Liability of bona fide subcontractors unless conditions complied with including Public, Products and Inefficacy Liability Insurance in place (minimum 1,000,000 limit) Professional services provided separately for a fee or under a separate contract Use of heat away from the Insured s own premises unless comply with heat precautions Liability arising from products exported to USA/Canada or any territory in their jurisdiction (option to extend) Standard Excesses as follows: Window Cleaning 1,000 Pressure Washing 1,000 All other work 250 Or any other amount specifically agreed Contract Works Damage occurring after completion of the works or after taken into use by the Employer other than where caused before the maintenance period or when carrying out obligations during the maintenance period (maximum maintenance period 12 months) Damage caused by changes in the water table level Defective designs, workmanship or materials other than those parts of the property insured free of the defective condition Inventory losses Pollution Existing property Damage to any mechanically propelled vehicle licensed for road use other than a vehicle used solely as a tool of trade. Damage to aircraft, hovercraft or watercraft other than hand propelled watercraft Damage to or loss of money Liquidated damage, fines or penalties Consequential loss Wear and tear, wet or dry rot, mildew, dryness or dampness, rust or corrosion, insect, vermin, erosion, depreciation or obsolescence Damage to materials not stored in accordance with manufacturers recommendations Standard Excesses: 500 50 in respect of Employees Tools and Personal Effects Or any other amount specifically agreed Professional Indemnity Dishonest or malicious insured, criminal or deliberate acts Employee Bodily Injury Estimates of construction costs 2,500 Excess or such other amount as agreed Express warranty or guarantees and contractual liability Assignees of collateral warranties (other than the first three) Insolvency of the Insured Insurance, finance or financial advice 4
