ABOUT THE HEART CENTER The Heart Center at the American Hospital Dubai is a regional center of excellence for cardiac care, providing American standards of care to patients in the UAE and the region. The Heart Center is capable of treating all types of cardiac conditions including interventional cardiology and surgery. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS AND PROCEDURES OF CARDIOLOGY PACKAGES Your check up will take about half a day. This depends on how close your appointments will be. Payment of the package should be done in advance upon registration (cash or credit card). Packages once paid for and after the date of the Initial Consultation with the Cardiologist must be completed within 90 days after which the amount paid is likely to be forfeited. The package selected by you is substantially discounted by the Hospital. Services cannot be substituted and there is no refund for unavailed services. You need to arrive at the hospital s Heart Center about 30 minutes earlier for subscribing your package and registration. Please note that if you arrive late for your appointment, you may face additional delays with other appointments. Please note that you must come fasting for 12 hours. You may only drink water. Please collect your snack coupon from the clinic upon arrival and take your snack box from the coffee shop located in the hospital s main lobby. Please bring with you comfortable shoes and clothes. You will need a track suit for the treadmill exercise. Any test, procedure or investigation done which are not listed in the package here will be charged separately. Please book your follow up visit after completing all the tests, in order to review them with your cardiologist. Please contact us at least 2 days before your appointment in the event of cancellations and/or rescheduling. Please note that all prices are subject to change without any prior notice and at the sole discretion of the hospital s management.. 6

If additional stay is required, 1,500 AED per day for normal Room and 650 AED per day for Doctor s Rounding Fees will be charged extra. 3.
