Following the highly successful drama C era una volta la città dei matti on Basaglia and Rino Gaetano, ma il cielo è sempre più blu, Marco Turco returns to Rai Uno with a story never told before on TV: the protagonists of Altri tempi (Other times), airing on March 18 and 19, are the brothels and Senator Merlin s battle told through the story of Maddalena (Vittoria Puccini), a prostitute who must make the painful decision to give up her daughter. By her side as she evolves from a young girl in trouble into the charming and alluring Ninfa, the madam of the city s most prestigious brothel are the other ladies of the night Duchessa (Stefania Rocca), Camilla, Viola, Edda, Agata, and Betty (Marina Rocco, Elena Radonicich, Camilla Semino Favro, Viviana Altieri, and Marta Iagatti). Everything revolves around a letter by Maddalena read by her daughter Adele (Valentina Corti) revealing many secrets and confessions and sent to Senator Merlin (Benedetta Buccellato), the courageous woman who bravely faced a difficult battle among the many contrasts of Italy in the 1950 s that lead to the closure of the brothels. L Assalto tells of the encounter between an entrepreneur from the province of Milan, Giancarlo Ferraris, and the Ndrangheta. Ten years after the end of the Trojan War, Ulysses, the king of Ithaca, has still not returned to his island.
