This installation guide is written for professional installers to provide help on selecting the best installation method for a given car and to provide the car kit-specific information needed for the installation. 6 AUX-in for phone and music Phone: 1. Connect one speaker output of the car kit system cable (from ISO B connector) to the phone-in connector of your car radio. 2. 12 Check the car configuration: Select an installation method. Some require additional parts. Make sure you have these available. Car audio systems have different configurations for the radio mute signal. Check the reference document of your car stereo system. Do not install any component or cable in an airbag deployment area. Do not install a component in a head impact area.

15 If the car does not provide an ignition signal connection at the car stereo connector, search for ignition signal at the cigarette lighter or switch for the lights of the car. Cable manufacturers offer adapters from DIN/ISO to many car-specific car radio adapters. There may also be dedicated cable harnesses for car/car kit combination. If there is no audio in case of usage of an adapter cable, check if the pins of the adapter cable are properly fitting inside the connector housing.

16 To update the software of the car kit, go to and download the novero software update tool. Please install it on a PC and then connect the car kit with a USB cable through the micro USB connector on the remote control. Please check for additional or contact the novero line.

17 Always have a qualified professional handle the installation or any repairs on your car kit. Please refer to the installation guide for more information. Make sure that the car kit components are fastened in places where 1. they are not close to an airbag or area where they could harm you in case of a collision 2. they are in arm s reach from the driver s seat 3. they do not impair the operation of the vehicle. Never try to dismantle the product yourself. None of the internal components can be replaced or repaired by users. Only authorized dealers or service centers may open the product. If any parts of your product require replacement for any reason, including normal wear and tear or breakage, contact your dealer. Keep out of reach of children. The plastic bags, which this product and its parts are wrapped in, are not toys for children. The bags themselves or the many small parts they contain may cause choking if ingested. If in doubt, please consult your local or state authorities. The product must be taken to separate collection at the product end-of-life.
